Just realized I didn’t introduce myself, clumsy me, my name is Emily, Emily jones, the only child of Mr and Mrs jones of jones stones, yes, my parents own a diamond company, we are super wealthy, and I hate it sometimes, it draws a lot of attention wherever I go, that is why I like to be very low profile, even from my looks you would never think I’m a billionaire’s daughter and I like it that way.

My parents are always trying to make me climb the social ladder, go to the most expensive school, wear the most expensive clothes and mingle with other kids of super wealthy backgrounds, attend all social gather basically just wanting me to fit in and I do not want that, I want a simple life, where I get to live and experience everyday and every moment just like normal people that was why I chosed to go to a normal college where I can be a normal student and make real friends and fall in love too.

And all that is going well, I have my best friend Anna and now I am in love with Jason and life feels so perfect.

I’m back at the library again at the exact time like last time, hoping to run into Jason again, but I see no sight of him, I take a sit and wait for about 40 minutes but still no sight of him, I guess he didn’t come today, I try to read, but deep now I know I am only trying to wait to see if he would come, after waiting for over 2 hours and he still doesn’t come, I give up, park up my things and leave, I decide to head to the cafeteria to get something to eat, and there he was sitting and laughing with some girl, they were all flirty and touchy and I couldn’t help but burn with jealousy, I knew I had no right to be jealous but I just couldn’t help it, how could he sit there and laugh with another girl when he knew I was in love with him, okayyy, I know I am being dramatic, considering the fact that he barely even knows me but I just couldn’t help it.

Bought some takeaways and headed home, I couldn’t eat there, I couldn’t stay and watch him the feeling was unbearable, I eventually got to my dorm and met my room mate and best friend

“Hey, what’s wrong, why do you look so sad?” Anna asked.

“Trust me Ann, you do not want to know about it” I say while taking a sip of my drink

“What happened?” She asked concerned

And then I proceeded to tell about my crush and all and Anna just couldn’t stop laughing

“Stop Anna, it isn’t funny” I said pretending to be mad

“Emily how could you😂, no you can’t tell me to stop laughing because this is too funny, you are angry over a guy that barely even knows you and you are love with him too😂, what are you, a teenager, come on girl, you’re 21, if you like a guy you go for him and not get mad when you see him talk to other girls”

“I know Ann, but when I am around him, I lose my words and all I can think about are his looks, it’s like he hypnotizes me or something”

“Oh my gosh Emily, you have totally fallen for this guy, you need to talk to him the next time you see him”

“What, I can’t do that for all I know, the girl could be his girlfriend and I am not going to come between a happy relationship”

Ann rolls her eyes “you would eventually do it, it’s just a matter of time, for the Emily I know” she says smirking and I shake my head.
