Cecil’s group quickly arrived at their destination and he led everyone to the outpost that their sect had set up to combat the demonic cultivator threat in the north.
The elders there were already made aware of his group’s arrival and they quickly opened up the barrier and gates to let them in. Once everyone was settled into their quarters, Cecil toured the outpost and set up some of his special formations around it, and reinforced the outpost’s defenses.
There were many of these outposts spread across the northern border of present-day China where the Eastern Cultivation Alliance resided. The threat from the north directly interfered with many of their interests and it happened when the alliance was planning on reclaiming the north and incorporating the lands into their own territory.
