While Cecil dealt with the threat that had appeared outside of the barrier, the young cultivators inside of the barrier were dealing with their own problems in the form of the pressuring demonic energy from the barrier along with the attacks from the demonic cultivators that were inside of the barrier with them.
Thanks to the barrier, the demonic cultivators had their cultivation and strength enhanced, giving the orthodox cultivators a hard time fighting off their assaults.
It wasn’t only the Tianhou Sect cultivators that were trapped inside of the barrier, many of the other orthodox sect cultivators were present as well.
Thankfully or not, every cultivator inside of the barrier–both orthodox and demonic–were all those of the young generation so neither side held a significant advantage
