It appeared that this villain was quite high up in the chain of command as he knew much more than any of the previous villains Cecil had interrogated and he didn’t seem to be lying at all.
Cecil had gained many things when he lost his eyes and one of them was the ability to easily determine whether someone was lying to him or not because he could feel if their heart and breathing changed when they talked.
To a normal person, if a person lied and was very good at it, they wouldn’t be able to tell the difference but to Cecil, he could see many obscure hints. Though they were obscure to most people, they were quite easy to notice for him.
He could also feel a person’s aura shift in a particular manner if they lied but he didn’t detect anything of the sort when he interrogated this villain
