Chapter 2 - We’re Free!

I walked back out only to be trapped by two big muscular arms. Right away I knew it was a werewolf by his ferral smell i looked deep into his eyes. Niether of us letting out a single breath until he spoke.

“What is your name?” His deep voce sending shivers down my back

“H-Harper” I said with a gulp

“Im Aiden, what were you doing back here?”

“Um i was just washing my hands”

“ I see, who were you with?”

“This worker came up to me and tried to talk to me but I told him to go away” when I said this his eyes became pitch black. In a matter of seconds they went back to their forest green. Aiden had deep green eyes that seemed to put me into a transe. His shaggy blonde hair barely skimmed the tops of his eyebrows while his perfect skin formed a jawline that could cut your heart in half.

”who were you sitting with” his gaze deepening

“Oh that was just my brother” right when I said that Hunter looked over at me and waved. I gave him a small nod and looked back at Aiden.

“Would you like to meet him?“

“Yes” he said gruffly which I didn’t mind becuase it sent more shivers down my spine. We walked over to our table and sat down next to each other.

“Hunter this is Aiden. Aiden this is Hunter.”

“Nice to meet you” Aiden said

“Nice to meet you too” Hunter replied

“Well my mate and I better get going” Aiden said randomly

“Huh..” Aiden grabbed my arm and I felt a tingling sensation shoot up my arm. Yep he was my mate.

“Wait! Can I come with you?” Hunter asked him

“Sure, why not” we all walked toward the door. There was another man about our age walking with us. I assumed it was one of his friends. We walked to a black Maserati and all got in i sat in the front with Aiden while Huter and the other kid sat in the back.

“Oh this is my beta Johnathan” Aiden said. Oh so that is who that is. That must mean... wait is Aiden the alpha then?

“Does that mean you’re the alpha?” I asked him. He simply nodded his head.

“So how can I feel your aura yet can’t communicate with your wolf?” Aiden simply asked

“Oh, we were never allowed to shift with our old pack. We were kidnapped and forced to live there.” I blatantly said. Aiden nodded his head again! Is he wondering if we are actually wolves. Does he think we’re spies!

When we got to his pack house it was filled with laughter and commotion when we walked in. All of the low ranked werewolfs bowed their head in submission. To their alpha and me?....

I looked over at Aiden and shrugged. I followed Aiden everywhere. First we showed Hunter his room and then we went to his office. I was sitting down infront of Aiden and felt my finger snap in half. I looked at my finger, set it back and looked up at Aiden who was busy typing of his computer.

“Uh Aiden do you have a finger splint I could borrow?”

“Why do you need one?” I looked into his deep green eyes and almost melted right then and there. I know for sure he is my mate just by looking at him.

”Well my finger kinda snapped on its own so I set it back. I just don’t want it to happen agian so I just wanted to keep it secured.”

“Oh well ok. Let’s go down to the infirmary and get one then.” We both got up and next thing i know the most pleasant feeling is sent all down my back. I turn around only to find Aiden touching my back. I kept walking and suddenly I felt the tingles all over my body. He had picked me up bridal style and was walking down the hallway. I curled up into a ball letting shivers travel down my side. If this is what my mate always feels like I don’t want to feel anything else.
