Chapter 4 - Faded

Harper’s POV

Aiden sat back down in his chair while I laid on the hospital bed. Aiden started to growl. I felt a sharp pain in my chest. I screamed in pain. The nurses rushed inside. They frantically looked at the scene in front of them. The alpha and his mate crying and srceaming in pain. They rushed over to their alpha first. Aiden slowly lifted his finger towards me motioning them to help me first. The youngest nurse came up next to me and started to check my pupils then my heart. After that moment another bone in my body snapped. She looked at the horrid sight. My leg was snaped in half. I was too tired to think. But I cried in pain. Aiden looked at my leg and his eyes flashed black and green before turning pitch black. I never knew there was such a color. I was in too much pain to think anymore. I decided to let my body slip into unconsciousness.

Aiden’s POV

I helplessly watched my mates bone crack even more, while she was unconscious. I used my alpha voice and yelled

“HELP HER!”

All of the doctors ran in and started snapping bones back in place but they were just breaking even worse than before. They finally stopped and walked away. Bones cracking in half filled my head. I can’t even help my mate I thought to myself. I cried in agony for my mate. The doctor ran back inside with a large syringe filed with bright neon orange liquid. I tried to stop him but my arms and legs wouldn’t move. Johnathan my beta came in with 3 other of our strongest wolves. They grabbed each of my limbs and carried me outside. They sat me down and some of the vampire coven elders came to me. I growled showing my power but they didn’t even flinch. They began shaking my limbs like I was dead or something. I looked at them in confusion.

“Darius what is going on?” I asked my wolf. He didn’t answer me. He always answers me! That means something is wrong with my wolf. The coven leaders were talking to Johnathan. I heard bits and pieces but the main part I heard was.

“The legend states that first will be a descendant of Selene and lycan. The second a vampire werewolf hyrbid. And the third will be revealed when needed the most.”

“So does that mean alpha and his mate have another mate?” Johnathan asked confused

“Yes they will have to find each other. If they are put in the same room together the curse is they will instantly die of fire. We have to let them free and search on their own the mate bond was already working since her bones were breaking.”

“So we’re just going to let them run free till they find each other?”

“That’s our only choice.”

After that I was shocked. We have a third mate! How is that even possible. I wonder who the lycan and the hybrid is. But what is the third one. I know im not the hybrid. Cause if i was my pack would never let me be alpha. I wonder if Harper is a hybrid. I hope she’s ok. I can’t live without her! After that I fell asleep knowing she is strong and can do it. I know it.

Raven’s dads POV

“What is going on up here?” I yelled rushing into my sons room. I found him on the ground holding his chest screaming in pain. I quicky called the nurses and got him checked on. I decided i was going to ask the coven what they thought it could be but they were no where to be found.

“Alpha we think the coven is at a werewolf pack.”

“Well lets go there now” I told my beta Derrick

“Yes, alpha”

We quickly ran to the hose in our wolf forms. We changed behind a tree and walked out to where three men were standing over a fairly large man. The beta bowed and the coven elders told me what is happening.

“So your telling me that my son has TWO MATES!” I yelled at them. I was already mad my son had to suffer from a mate but now he has two!

“Well fine then take him!” I spat at the elders. They looked at me with dark red eyes testing me which I glaldy returned.

I ran back to the castle and yelled in my alpha tone

“GET OUT!”

All of the nusres and doctors in Raven’s room were gone in a flash. I picked up my son and carried him outside into the woods.

“Goodbye son.” After that I wrote him a note saying

“don’t come back until the strongest pack’s beta tells you to” and walked back to the castle.
