Chapter 5 Missing

1094 Words
Alpha Johns POV: Its been one week since the Elle has been kidnapped. My trackers have tracked her across state line, they have tracked her for 12 hours and then lost her scent. They are looking for clues, but they can only be gone for a few more days before they need to head back and recuperate. I should have just her mother track her, she probably could have found her by now. Her father’s blood lines are impeccable when it comes to tracker genes. Unfortunately, it is against pack law for females to be anything that is considered for males only. However, this situation is very difficult to understand. There a quite few unanswered questions that I have concerns about, like why the girl was out so late and what would rogues want with a newly shifted wolf. They usually go after pups that haven’t had their first shift yet and on top of it we haven’t had any issues with rogues for years. This will be one of the hardest things that I have to teach my son. We have to tell her parents that we lost her scent and we have to bring the trackers back. “Jax! Its time for us to go” I mind link him. He comes down the stairs trying to keep his face stone walled, but I know my son. Elle is one of his best friends along with her brother and Kasey. We walk to the Hopi’s house to tell them the bad news. We both take deep breathes before we knock, Elle’s parents open the door with hope in their eyes. “Please have seat Mr. and Mrs. Hopi. “I am so sorry to inform you that we have lost her scent and that I have to call my men back to rest.” They both start sobbing and Mrs. Hopi ask us to leave. “Yes Ma’am. Please take care.” As we head back home, I notice my son has let a few silent tears fall. Once we make it back home, I pull into a hug and tell him “We will keep searching for her.” Not only did he lose a friend, but we lost a pack member. Elle’s Pov: It has been a week that I have been in this hell. I have been keeping track by scratching a tally mark every time I see the sun come up from the little window. I think that I have been in my wolf most of the time. Every day at random times the Alpha comes in and beats or whips me. The first 3 days I went with out food or water, now I’m allowed a granola bar every other day and 3 glasses of water. The little brown eye rogue is my only friend here, sometimes she brings me extra food and water. I found out that her name is Gwen and that she was sold to the alpha here to be his spy and in return for her work her little brother will be kept safe. I still don’t trust her very much though because she is the spy and she keep telling that if submit to him the beatings won’t be so bad. However, I will never submit to someone like him! He is cruel and greedy. I will find a way to get out here. 3 months later…… I am getting weaker as the days go by. I bit him last week, so he has turned all the lights off and I have no social interaction, food, water or anything since last week. He even covered up the only window in here. I feel like I am starting to go crazy, every now and again I see a mouse run but that’s it. I have been trying to make friends with the little mouse. I have had a few conversations with Bellona, she tells me to save my strength, but I just want out of here. She talks to me every other day since last week to help not go crazy. I wonder if my family and friends are still looking for me or if they have given up. I decided that I am just gonna sleep as long as I can and maybe I won’t go so crazy. I hear the door open, so I jump up and wait to see who it is. The light is flipped on and it takes a minute for my eyes to adjust to the blinding light. It Alpha Randal, the one who is keeping me here in this hell. “Maybe you have learned your lesson, since you haven’t had any sliver or wolfsbane you should be able to shift. I will give you two hours to eat the packs scraps, drink some water, and prepare to fight.” He tells me. “why do you want me to fight? What will the accomplish?” I ask him. “Having you down here doing nothing is not teaching you to be a killer, so I am going to have you start fighting wolves to the death once a week.” He says to me with an evil smirk. “Gwen will be down here soon with the scraps and water. I will be back to collect you in two hours.” 1 year later……. He has kept his word; I have officially become a killing machine. Once a week a fight a wolf that has betrayed him or one, he has kidnapped. If I don’t kill them, he tortures them to death and makes me watch. I learned that in my first fight, I fought the little male wolf until he couldn’t get up, but I couldn’t kill him. He had two of his men put a sliver collar and muzzle on me while he tortured the young wolf to death in front of everyone. Now in a fight when I get the chance, I kill them swiftly, by clamping down on their throat. It kills them within a few seconds, so they don’t die in a whole bunch of pain. I am starting to feel numb inside between the beatings and killings. Bellona keeps telling to keep my head up and reminds of some good memories, but I am slowly starting to forget those too.
