Coming out and making everyone fall silent definitely made me tense. I'm pretty sure the ones up close can hear when I take a gulp. The crowd stares at me, waiting for me to speak. After I introduced myself, I was unsure what to do next.
I shakily lift my hand to wave, which causes everyone to cheer. I was definitely not expecting that. Seeing the pack members excited gives me a new sense of pride, or maybe it's a sense of belonging.
Sam pulls me in for a passionate kiss in front of the entire pack. The whole area erupts, drowning out my own thoughts. I can't help but blush and curl into Sam. Sam places a hand on my head gently before stepping away to stand in front of the mic.
