***Callie's POV***
The sound of trees breaking and leaves rustling through the wind did nothing to cover the sounds of the roars and snapping bones. The sound gets closer to us, causing the intensity of the air to thicken. I feel goosebumps forming all over my body as the hair stands on the back of my neck.
Sam gives me one last glance and then shifts into his wolf form, Zack. I follow his lead and do the same. I take a second to concentrate since hadn't shifted in a while. Plus, up until a couple of minutes ago, I barely even heard Alice or even had the strength to attempt this.
**It's alright, you've handled worse**
Alice's voice gives me comfort. On my next breath, I shift. It feels weird being on all fours this way but in a better way. Like this, with Alice in charge, I feel safe
