I grab the bag I stashed earlier by a tree along the edge of the clearing and then head further into the woods toward my new home. Strangely, leaving everything and everyone I've known and loved behind doesn't seem to affect me. I guess it just goes to show that nothing really matters here.
Samuel will regret never making me his. Speaking of which, I should start thinking about my plan to seduce Chris. It shouldn't be too hard. I know what a man wants and how to make them beg on their knees for more. I smile, reassuring myself, then start running. I'm excited to meet Chris face-to-face for the first time.
