***Callie's POV***
My eyelids feel heavy as I try to open them. I look around my surroundings and see the all-too-familiar walls of the hospital. The lights are dim but still bright enough that my eyes sting.
"Callie?" Sam's voice sounds anxious.
I turn my head to face him when I feel his hand grab mine.
"Sam?" I speak, although my voice is weak and hoarse, "What happened?"
"You were heading to the shower and passed out. When I couldn't wake you, I brought you here. You've been asleep for almost..." Sam pauses to check his watch before continuing, "...twelve hours now. How are you feeling?"
"Better, but I don't know what happened. Maybe I overdid it when I was fighting Myra," I remark.
"Sharon took some blood and they're running tests. She should be here soon with them," Sam reveals
