***Callie's P.O.V.***
I stand alone in the middle of the secluded field. Sam watches from the sidelines because he's not allowed to interfere. At the same time, the other six Alphas circle around me, with only three of them shifting into their wolf form.
The others toss their jackets off to the side and uncuff their sleeves to roll them up while I wait, still wearing my evening gown and heels. I guess if I'm going to make this fight interesting, then I'll have to take these off. I slip out of my heels and toss them to Sam, who catches them with a smile.
As I stand by myself, watching the other six ready to attack me, I don't feel worried or even scared. Instead, I'm more excited than I've ever been. It's like I've been waiting to be challenged like this so I can prove who I really am.
