REVELATION

1921 Words
Rosemary stares into the darkness for a while, then turns around to make her way home. The air is chilled, causing her body to shiver; she puts both hands in the pockets of her jeans, folds herself, and walks briskly down the road. Her body is still trembling from shock and adrenaline, a whirlwind of emotions sweeping through her as she walks. Gratitude to the stranger who had saved her life and confusion at what the stranger is. ”Who is this enigmatic Savior? Was he a vampire? No, it can't be, but how do I explain all that? He was definitely a vampire.” She keeps battling in her mind till she gets home, and it's strangely quiet. Deep down, she is relieved; the last thing she wants is to talk to anyone. She just wants a hot shower and to lay down on her bed. She walks to their front door, stands there for a couple of minutes, and still hears no sound. She opens the door, and to her disappointment, Benjamin is lying on their king-size dining table. Tim and her mother were sitting around him. She stares blankly at them, and they stare back. Rosemary breaks the silence, referring to Benjamin, "Let's take him to the hospital." Tim speaks calmly. "Please come and sit down here for a minute," she stood there contemplating if she should. "Please,” Tim pleaded. She didn't want to, but looks at her brother lying there helplessly, and she proceeds to take a seat by her mother, then Tim speaks, "Your brother needs help, and we are the only ones that can help him, to do..." "Where are Seth and Bridget?“ she interrupts him. "They are not here, and it's because they are not one of us,” Tim replies with a calm expression. "Tim, with all due respect, you're not even a member of this family," she says, anger and frustration clearly showing on her face. "We are different from them. We come from a bloodline of werewolves," Tim says with a serious expression. Rosemary scoffs, Tim gets up, "Wait a second," he goes outside, and returns in a few minutes. Rosemary hears a low growl behind her; she turns and sees a big, majestic brown wolf staring into her soul; she screams in panic and jumps onto the table. She locks eyes with the wolf; its amber eyes are filled with love, nostalgia, and warmth. She is scared and looks away. "Look into his eyes and open your mind to it," Tim tells her, but she's panicking and unable to look at the wolf in the eye. She turns to her mother; her eyes have changed to werewolf eyes with a golden glow. She turns to Tim, terrified to her bones. "Are you ready to listen now?" Tim asks her, and she just nods in response. Tim speaks, "We are not originally from here. We come from Silverwood, from a pack called the white silver pack. Your father was the alpha and your mother, the Luna. Our pack was the largest, strongest, and most powerful pack in history.Silverwood was home to many humans, vampires, witches, trolls, werewolves, and other creatures. We all lived in harmony, respecting each other's boundaries. Led by the wise and kind-hearted Alpha Lucas, your father. The pack thrived in harmony and unity for many decades. One day, your father decided to elect a Beta, Omega, Gamma, and Zeta, whom he appointed as a war general of the pack to help lead and protect the pack during war. I was his beta. He believed that by sharing power and responsibility, the pack would become even stronger. That worked for a bit. Until the zeta, Jones Smith, started suggesting that the pack fights other creatures to enlarge its territory. He even suggested the pack coverts the whole Silverwood for itself. But your father refused to let that happen. However, the zeta was not pleased with how your father handled the issue. So he started to spread rumors among the pack that the Alpha was weak and how he would protect the humans over them. He convinced the omega and gamma, and all of them, fueled by greed, began to look for an opportunity to seize power from the alpha. They began to plot a coup against the Alpha, determined to overthrow him and take control of the pack.As the days passed, the Zeta's influence grew stronger because he was in charge of all the men of the pack, whispering lies and deceit into the ears of the pack members; he slowly but surely turned the pack against the Alpha, sowing seeds of doubt and discord. One fateful day, the Zeta, Omega, and Gamma made their move. They attacked the humans, setting fire to their homes and a school full of children. Among these children were you, Benjamin, Seth, and Bridget. Four of you and seven other children were saved. The rest, hundreds of children, died that day. When the alpha heard this, he was filled with rage; he started to kill members of his pack that were involved. They tried to fight him, but his strength was unmatched. Realizing this, the Zeta went to Raymond Gary, the head of the human council, who is also the father of Seth and Bridget, and lied that the Alpha ordered the attack on the humans and the fire that killed his children, even though the children were safe. Raymond was sent in full rage, and with both leaders in rage, he lured both of them into a room, hoping they would kill each other because either way he wins. Raymond confronted your father in rage. No matter how much he explained things to him, he did not listen. Your father had a soft spot for humans, so he did not fight back. Raymond stabbed him several times in the belly. When I found them, he was on the verge of death, but Raymond wouldn't stop stabbing him. I shotRaymond died on the spot. We had to flee; with the alpha in that condition, the coup was successful, and we would all be killed. We brought Seth and Bridget with us because their mother didn't come to pick them up after we rescued them. The other children's parents came, so we didn't know if she was alive or dead. We managed to escape, but the alpha was dying, so we took him to the Elysium, to the temple of the Moira. Fortunately, his time was not up. To keep him alive, they took your wolf's breath and Benjamin's and gave it to him, but it was not enough because you two were so young and I wasn't blood related to them. I couldn't help. They took your mother's wolf breath and added it; she became paralyzed, and he lived but in wolf form. He couldn't shape shift into his human form anymore,” pointing to the wolf, ”that is your father. He watched you grow from afar.” Rosemary's eyes flood with tears. "So where from this memory of my dad that I have been clinging on to?" She asks in shock. "Every werewolf has a gift; your mother's gift is desire and fantasy. She can make people see anything they want and even be convinced that they really experienced it." Rosemary's eyes widen in shock. She turns slowly to her mother; she felt like she didn't know her anymore. ” Benjamin Is in a trance; its a confused state between being a werewolf and a human. I believe he came into contact with someone from the pack, and his spirit wolf got overwhelmed; this happens when humans get bitten by werewolves. Usually, this should make him shapeshift, but he doesn't have his wolf's breath, so he couldn't, and his wolf spirit is battling his human spirit, creating confusion. That is why he is just gazing; perhaps he can hear us or feel when we touch him, but his mind is at war because both spirits use one mind. We need to take him to the Moira temple to have his breath restored to him." Rosemary sits silent, shocked, and confused, trying to make sense of everything she heard. ”It's all too much for me to take in now; can we continue all this later?" she inquired from Tim. He sees that she is agitated and really needed time to process it all. ”Okay, but it has to be done before the next full moon; otherwise, he dies." He warns her. Rosemary only nods and quickly gets up and goes in to her room. She takes a shower and lays in bed, the events of the day haunting her. She closes her eyes but feels like she's drowning and opens her eyes in panic. She turns and tosses, unable to sleep.Meanwhile, the vampire that saved her life earlier is on a journey to the temple of the Moira. He moves with the speed of light, swinging through trees, jumping mountains, and crossing oceans; he finally gets to Elysium, where the Moira's temple is located. The temple was shrouded in darkness and mystery. As he approached the ancient temple, he could feel the power and magic emanating from its walls. The air was thick with the scent of incense, and the sound of chanting filled the place. As he entered the temple, he was greeted by a group of faceless, hooded figures. They led him through a winding corridor and up a stone staircase until they reached the inner sanctum of the temple. The aura of the temple was enchanting and powerful yet so pure. Glowing orbs of light danced in the air, casting an ethereal glow over the room. The walls were adorned with intricate carvings and symbols, telling the stories of gods and goddesses from long ago.In the heart of the room, a magical crystal globe sat atop a pedestal, shimmering with an ethereal light that illuminated the entire room. Within this globe, the threads of destiny intertwined and connected every living being in the world. Clotho, the youngest of the Moirai, spun the threads that connected all life, her spindle never ceasing its eternal dance. Each thread represented an individual's life, woven together in the intricate tapestry of fate. Lachesis, the middle sister, sits beside Clotho, measuring the length of each thread and determining the span of every person's life. With careful precision, she allocated portions of life's necessities to all, ensuring that each soul received what they needed to fulfill their destiny. Atropos, the eldest and most feared of the Moirai, watched over the threads with a sharp and unyielding gaze. It was she who held the sacred shears, the inevitable blade that cut the thread of life when the time was right. Together, they maintained a balance of fate. Finally, the vampire came face to face with Moira. They gazed at him with ancient eyes, their expressions unreadable. The three Moira sing in unison with the music of the Seirenes. It is low, warm, and alluring, but when provoked, the pitch goes high, hurting the eardrums of the offender and causing their ears to bleed. They seem to be familiar and amused with this visitor.”Gershon! It's about time you put this thousand years of lonely life to rest." Clotho speaks, her voice like a rushing stream."I saw her! I saw Isla. You reincarnated her and did not inform me." Gershon speaks, his voice deadly and yet barely above a whisper. The three sisters pass knowing glances at each other.
