Once Mateo and I arrived by the lakeside, there were a lot of teenagers hanging around. We walked over to where the boys were seated on a bench. As we approached the boys, James handed me and Mateo a cup each. I took mine and downed it thinking it was water. Nope, not water, it was pineapple and vodka.
"Whoa, I thought we had a good day so far?" Logan asked with a fake concerned face.
"I didn’t mean to down the drink like that. I thought it was water and, yeah, it was a great day. Well, besides the fact that my brother is annoying me. Also, did I mention it, I thought it was water," I said, looking at Logan and the boys just laughed.
