Nina's POV.
Mateo was a real gentleman. We got off on the wrong foot at first, but we ended up becoming good friends. He opened the door to the ride. Now here we sat, staring at everything below as we moved up. We were almost at the top of the ride. I looked around and saw the whole fairground. It was a great sight. I loved how we ran around the fair and played games like we were kids instead of teenagers.
"This is great," I said in a whisper for only me to hear as I took a deep breath in, then out.
