Mateo POV.
I was struggling to control myself when I wasn't allowed to go see my mate in the hospital. I waited for the whole fourteen hours since my beta brought her here. Finally, her brother announced that she was okay and that we could go see her. She sat on her bed with a smile on her face as we all walked into her room. She seemed a bit off to me, but I guess it was from what had happened.
"Hey, how are you holding up?" Sam said as he sat on the chair next to her bed.
I just stood near the door and let everyone else surround her. I know she and I were not as close as she is with the rest of my pack members. Plus, we sort of did get off to a wrong start.
