Three months later
“I do.”
Those two simple words sealed my fate as Aristide pulled me close and kissed me like there was no tomorrow much to the amusement of the congregation who were wolf whistling and cheering.
Normally I’d be shy or embarrassed but this was my wedding day. I’m married to the love of my life, I can’t be anything but happy. The planning was hectic since we had such a huge amount of guests; family, friends, employees, business associates, classmates from college and high school.
It was a big wedding and if not for the support of Carmen, Gabi and Olympia I wasn’t sure I could have pulled it off. So many times I wanted to give up and just elope but I knew I couldn’t do that, I wanted the whole experience.
