It was the Saturday after the rehearsal dinner and Carmen, Gabi and I were having our monthly weekend visit to our moms.
Our moms were in good shape for women their age so they insisted on living on their own without a live in health care provider.
They however had a caretaker who worked for a number of hours each day, she shopped for groceries and did all the chores our moms couldn't handle.
Our moms lived in a gorgeous cabin surrounded by nature but they weren't isolated. Their neighborhood was specifically for people who didn't want to live in retirement homes just yet.
I really needed this it was a sort of vacation and I really missed my mom and the other amazing women who helped to raise me.
Carmen and Gabi were just as excited, especially Gabi she's only truly relaxed
