“Give it all you’ve got, werewolf. I will destroy you, claim your mate, and she will relish every moment as I take her body and make it mine. Her power, along with Skylar and Tauleran, will be mine,” Evil growled, his voice more menacing than anything I had ever heard.
I rushed to Blue, grabbing his tail in panic. “No, Blue! Please don’t do this—we need help!”
Astoria was still on her knees, tears streaming freely down her cheeks. I turned to her sharply. “Astoria, leave. Now. You’ve done enough damage—for a man who isn’t even yours. You will pay for this.”
