“Red!”
The most breathtaking black wolf stood before me—twice my size, with piercing blue eyes. An unusual color for a wolf, but who was I to judge? I am glowing red, after all.
“Red, let’s go for a run.”
“Yes, my love.”
We dashed through the forest, our paws pounding against the earth. I didn’t know where we were, but I knew exactly where to go—like instinct guiding every step. He turned to me mid-run, eyes gleaming.
“Red, I want to show you a place that breathes magic. Are you coming with me?”
“Of course, my love. Let’s go.”
We raced through the blur of trees until we reached a wide clearing encircled by tall forest. The moonlight bathed the field in silver, but I raised an eyebrow, unimpressed.
