"What is it mom?" I asked confusely.

At first, she really looks like frustrated. I don't know what's the matter.

"Addy, i hope you forgive me" she said that makes me so confused.

"Mom, tell me what's wrong" i said.

"Y-you...y-you're getting married"

Huh?

I put the glass of yogurt in my table while trying to sinc in the funny words that my mom has been told me.

"Hahaha i'm getting married? Mom? Are you drunk? Come on haha i don't have a boyfriend yet" i said to her while controlling my laugh.

She just took a deep sigh and i can see the serious mode on her face.

"I understand if you will get mad at me addy. Our company actually getting down, we're now in a bankrup way" she said.

I've seen the teary water on her eyes.

But wait...

Bankrupt?!

"We have a big dept to mr. Folkerson and to the wenshie company addy, you're dad needs an operation for his heart disease and i don't know where i could find his donor. It's a big amount our needs to take a successful operation for him. I don't know what i'm supposed to do" she's now explaining while crying.

And because of that i suddenly felt the fluid fells in my cheeks.

"I- i didn't know anything about this mom, w-why didn't you tell me that we're suffering already?"  I asked her wondering.

"As much as i can, i don't want you to suffered too. But...but addy i don't have any choice when mr. Folkerson offered me a deal" she said, that makes me stop.

"What kind of deal?" I asked.

"You and troi will going to married and after that? They will going to help our company to raise up again, they will find a better way to help your dad regarding the operation he's needed" her answered.

I become silent for a while.

I- i'm speechless.

"What's their reason?--i mean, troi has already a girlfriend" I asked while so confused.

"The family of troi's girlfriend was become their biggest rivalry. They don't want veronica to be their daughter in law and aside from that, troi should be get married before he turns 30. Or else they would never get the wealth of troi's grandfather where been testamentary to him" her replied.

Wow hahaha.

"So i'll gonna be their instrument, mom?" I asked with a sarcastic tone.

"Come on addy, please!. It's a win win situation for us. If you will be married, they will get the main purpose of that married. And we will also get what's the right for us. The promised deal addy, for our company and for your dad" she's trying to convince me.

"But troi has already a girlfriend mom, what do you think might happen if we become married? We're married but he's inlove with someone else?. Look, I can see the genuine love on their relationship and i've never been dream to become a reason for breaking up of the one happy relationship" i'm so against on their deal.

"Can't you do this for me, addy?" Her asked in a pleasing tone.

Is this really serious?.

I- i don't wanna be a mistress o even a third party.

I want to be a legal.

Legal wife if ever, not a mistress!.

Not a reason for breaking up of any couples.

How could i get to reject my mom's request to me?.

Our conversation stop when mom's phone suddenly rang.

"Hello---yeah speaking--w-what?!alright,alright-- We'll be right there, thank you!"

I look at her wondering after she ended the call.

"Addy, your dad is in the emergency!" She said with a panic tone.

I got shock for a while after i hear that.

She went outside my room in hurry so i followed her too.

What's happening to my dad?!

He's going to be fine, right?.

all i know right now is i'm crying due to worrying for my dad.

He's gonna be fine addy, don't worry.

"Are you accepting my deal?" His asked to me.

I just starred at the paper while still remain quiet.

I'm currently here in the coffee shop with troi and veronica, yeah with them.

We are making an agreement and it's all because of that planning marriage.

Troi and nica have no choice about the said marriage but they don't want to stay apart. So we're making a deal here once we become married.

It says here that, even though we're spouse, we don't still have the right to act as a spouse inside the house.

2. No planning to make a child

3. No controlling each other

4. Not together in one room

5. If our parents wants to see us? We will act as a real couple married.

6. Veronica and troi still the legal couple

7. No falling each other.

8. No telling it to others/ only the three of us knows about this

9. Veronica still the legal one and madisson is just the legal mistress.

That's the nine agreement they made.

I don't want to agree on this s**t but i remember what the doctor told to us about my dad's condition.

My daddy needs an operation as soon as possible.

I closed my eyes for a while before i pick the pen beside the agreement paper.

I took a deep breath first before i put my name there as my signature.

For my dad.

I am scarlet madisson  brown and i  will be troi harris folkerson's legal mistress 'til the rest of his life.

I don't wanna be like this, but i think it's ain't gonna be a  problem.

I still have to act as a real who i am. Accept the fact that i would never have a place on his heart.

A simple mistress doesn't have any place for those legal one.
