“An actual word, not just stoplights?”
“Those too. I’ll check in with you. But pick something that’ll stop everything on the spot. Something you’ll remember.”
“Ah,” Colby said. Liam had not bothered with any sort of safeword; Tony had, but had been noticeably disappointed if Colby deployed it. Jason cared. And cared for him. “All right…cherries.”
Jason grinned. Levity danced. “The sour kind?”
“Exactly. What’s yours?”
And Jason looked surprised, but only for a beat. “Didn’t think you’d ask.”
“That’s how it works, isn’t it? Equally. For both sides.”
