If only i could read Shelbee's mind, i thought! My goddess was this woman beautiful! She must have been mind linking her father because the look of determination on her face about made me rip her clothes off. I know this has to be so hard for her and i hope she understands that i will do anything to keep her safe!
Most of the plane ride we silent. I am sure the recent events have caused her mind to run frantically. I was curious where my mom and Lydia had planned to hide us. But it really didnt matter, just as long as i had Shelbee with me. The flight was long however, and we were over water for quite some time. I could only assume they sent us to a different continent. I was right when we landed and the pilot came back and gave us our next set of instructions, " Luka, Shelbee, I would like to welcome you to Hawaii! As soon as you get off of this plane there will be a limo with 3 men waiting for you. They plan to take you to where you will be living. There are currently no other wolves in the area, and you will live amongst humans. Your mothers planned that intentionally as Trenton would only assume you would have been taken under one of your relatives' packs. Please be careful you two. And best of luck to you both!"
Shelbee and I quickly exited the plane and ran to the limo. The 3 men greeted us with eager smiles. "Ah, young Luka we have been waiting for your arrival! Please, allow us to take you to your new home," said the tall one with dark skin. "My name is Spencer, the short guy here is Tanner, and the all serious one over there is Steven. We will be helping keep watch for any danger for you guys." "Thank you," I replied and Shelbee just smiled and nodded.
The drive was to be desired... the road was very rough and i could see Shelbee getting annoyed. After about 2 hours of driving we pulled up to a very beautiful home. It was up on a hill and you could see damn near everything below, including a small town to the south but that was so tiny even my wolf vision struggled. Spencer took our things inside and then Tanner started to speak, "Your mothers picked this place for you in hopes that if the time were to ever come, you can escape with plenty of time. This is the only house on this road, except or the other 3 you saw about 45 minutes back. Spencer and Steven are my brother's and they are twins, and we 3 live in those houses. I know the pilot told you there are no other wolves here, which is true, except for us. But we are hybrids. We are part wolf, part vampire, and the 3 of us are mated to 3 of the most powerful witches to exist. They have a cloaking spell on your home. With the distance we live away from you and with their spells we will be able to detect any danger that comes to you. You are safe here. And we will do all we can to protect you."
