As soon as I saw my father shift, turned and high tailed it to my room to grab the bag my mom had me pack. She was right. Unfortunately my father would never get over this and I felt so incredibly bad for him. Mom told me she planned to reject him if he couldnt come to his senses tonight and I could only feel sorrow for him as I grabbed my bag and turned to run out of my room. I ran down the back stairs of the castle. I knew if my father even caught a glimpse of me he would have me locked in my room. As i came out the back door, I took a quick right and ran to the front where awaited a large black limo... Luka's limo. A tall man stood at the back door, smiled at me and motioned for me to get in. He was already aware of what was happening. He helped me in, and said, " Pardon me, Princess, I will be your driver this evening, and my name is Sam. Please, let me help you get in." As i slid in, I heard the front door of the castle swing open and out ran Chase, Chelsea, and my luscious mate, Luka. They quickly slid in the limo, Sam slammed the door and sped away. I was shaking and quite frankly very nervous. This was possibly the last time i would ever see my parents again, and my home... I watched out the window as the only place that was home to me faded away. Tears started to stream down my face as i felt my parents' mate bond break. What a horrible feeling as i could feel my mother's heart shatter to pieces. Being the princess, i could also feel the entire pack shatter. My mother was the glue and she had decided to break it, despite being the luna, to show my dad what he was doing was ridiculous, selfish, ludicrous. I can only hope that my mother will be okay. I am sure my father has locked her away as he would have done me had he realized i was planning on leaving. I tried mind linking my mom to tell her i loved her, and to thank her for all she has done to ensure my happiness, but we were too far from my pack to reach her. As i turned to face the people sitting across from me i felt someone touch my hand. I knew instantly that it was Luka from all the sparks that invaded my body. I turned to lay my head on him and he in turn turned and wrapped me in a hug. "I am so sorry this is how it ended up turning out, Shelbee," he said, " I promise though, that i will protect you from any harm. Your mother knew exactly what she was doing and knew this had to be done to help save your pack. She broke her own heart to save your pack. Whatever you are thinking, do know that this is not your fault, and i am so proud to have found out that you are my mate... the daughter of one hell of a strong luna. You will see her again, i promise." With that i let my tears fall and i bawled. This was all new territory for me and i was going with basically complete strangers. I let myself cry into Luka's chest and slowly I started to cry myself to sleep...
