I felt so bad for Shelbee... to watch her cry made my soul hurt something terrible. I knew what she was feeling the instant i touched her hand. Sorrow, guilt, sadness, nervousness, unknowing of what is to come. She was scared, she was basically leaving all she knew to go live with complete strangers. Although, she knew who we were, it was still something so foreign to her. I wrapped my arms around her as she sobbed and fell asleep. She needed her rest... my home was not the last place we were stopping tonight. Once we get there, i will too grab the back my mom had me pack and we will be heading to the airport. Lydia told us we needed to get far away from here. Trenton will stop at nothing to get his daughter back.
We pulled up the driveway and i quickly mind linked Jonah, my best friend, to grab my bag and have it waiting for me at the door. As the car came to a stop, Shelbee woke up and asked if we were here. I shook my head yes, and turned to my mother. "My dear son," she said, "You take care of this beautiful young lady... Your father and i are so proud of the young man you have turned in to. We are both very sorry it has to be this way." I looked at her and said, "Mom, I love you and i will do just that. Hopefully, the war that is to come, will end with good. I feel like a coward running away. But at the same time, i know i need to protect Shelbee. I love you!" And i embraced her in a hug. My father then spoke, "Luka you are NOT a coward. This was the plan from the start. Chelsea and Lydia planned this out years and years ago and as much as i hate the fact the only they know where you are going, i very much agree that this is what is best for the both of you to stay safe. When the moon goddess visited me all those years ago, i knew i needed to listen to her. But the last thing she told me was that you two need to be together. If anything happens to you, our kind as we know it will dwindle to nothing. You both have a very special roll to play and when that time comes to find out what that is, you too will understand why i chose to let you go. I love you my son." I stood in shock as i watched my father start to cry. I have never seen him allow tears to fall, i do hope he will be okay. We all gave our hugs and i helped Shelbee back in. She thanked my parents and said her goodbyes. Sam quickly got in the driver's seat and drove away.

As we sped away, i only hoped that what was in store for Luka and i would work out for us. Sam was driving like a maniac and i hoped that for whatever reason he was doing so, was a good one because he was making me nauseous. Luka looked and me and said, "Sam has to get us to the airport as quickly as possible. My dad's private jet is waiting for us. My father just mind linked us both to let us know that your father is after us. He is about 15 minutes behind us and we have no time to waste. I know your father will kill me if he catches us. Im so very sorry that this has to be this way Shelbee..." I looked at him and smirked, which i think threw him off guard. "You listen here Luka Shrine. I may be Trenton's daughter but i would never let him lay a finger on you. I may be nervous about all of this but that does not mean i dont want to run away with you. Where ever our mother's have us going will be the safest place for us to be!" I think he liked me talking aggressive towards him because i could see the sudden arousal in his pants. For a moment i swear his eyes turned a completely different shade but when i blinked again they were back to normal. He smirked at me and all of the sudden the car came to a sudden stop.
We were at the airport. He looked at me and said, "Let's go." He grabbed both of our bags, grabbed my hand and we ran as quickly as we could to the jet and got inside. We quickly buckled up and Luka gave the okay to take off. As we rolled down the runway, my father's car pulled up and he mind linked me, " Shelbee, I will find you! And i am going to kill that young mate of yours if it is the last thing I do! He doesnt deserve you! He is filth like his father. You better not mate with him or i will have to kill you both! DO YOU HEAR ME!?" Tears streamed down my face as i knew he would do everything in his power to find us and kill us both. But i would not allow my father to take away my happiness even if it only does get to be short lived if he finds us. I decided to reply with the only thing i knew that would get to him, "I hate you father. You have left me no choice but to run away. If you do manage to find us, i look forward to our encounter. And do know it will be the last time you see me alive!" The link was then shut off as we were getting to far away for the link to continue on. I looked at Luka who had desire and l**t filling his eyes. There was no way i would not mate with this stud of a man!
