I was so incredibly scared standing next to my father as he greeted Luka's family. Luka and I couldnt even take our eyes off of each other. He looked GREAT in purple. I could feel a wetness growing between my legs that made me even more nervous. How can someone turn me on by just looking at me? I wanted to run to him and allow him to become my mate. But I know what my father would think if he found out that I was Luka's mate, especially after seeing him basically tell Chase to go to hell. After being lost in his eyes for a few moments, I saw my father reach his hand forward to shake Luka's hand but Luka was so lost in me that he didnt even hear my father... When my dad gave him a knowing look and followed his eyes to only end up falling on me, i could feel the anger grow inside of him. I tried to hold on to my dad but there was nothing i could do.

I watched as my father shifted into his dark grey wolf with some light silver streaks, along with about 10 of his most loyal followers. s**t was about to hit the fan...

DAMN IT! I let my guard down staring at the most beautiful creature to ever walk this earth and now here is Trenton in his damn wolf, ready to kill me.. "Listen Trenton, I mean absolutely NO disrespect to you or your pack. Please understand that I am not a threat to any of you here, I would just like the opportunity to get to know your family," I said. Trenton followed with, "LIKE HELL! HOW DARE YOU COME TO MY PACK LAND, LOOK AT MY DAUGHTER LIKE THAT, AND THINK FOR ONE MINUTE I WOULD ALLOW IT?" I then replied," I am sorry sir, it is not what you may think, she is just simply the most beautiful creature i have ever laid eyes on... I..." Trenton growled interrupting me mid sentence. I could already see what was happening and that this was going to end exactly how Lydia thought it would. But no matter how this night ended with Trenton, one good thing would come of me showing up here, and that was Shelbee and I would be leaving.... together.

"YOU WILL GET OUT OF HERE AND NEVER STEP FOOT HERE AGAIN OR I WILL HAVE YOUR ENTIRE FAMILY KILLED!" I screamed at the young man. How dare he think he could waltz in here and be mates with my daughter! I would NEVER allow this. Not after what his grandfather did to me! Chase then roared at the top of his lungs and shifted into his brown wolf. "Trenton, we can be civil here..." We should not interfere with the work of the moon goddess. She puts everything in place for a reason." I looked at him and said, " Chase, how dare you tell me what i can and cant be and screw the mood goddess. You are the reason for all of this! Had you actually fought fair all of those years ago, we would still be friends but you didnt and for that you and your family are not allowed here! So, GET OUT!" With that I watched as the 3 of them turned around and left. What i hadnt realized in all of the chaos they caused, was that my daughter had left my side.

I turned to face my wife and i could see disappointment all over her face. But i didnt care. She deliberately disobeyed our laws. I turned to my wife's 2 personal guards and told them to take her to our room. But before she could go she turned to face me one last time and announced to the entire pack, "For all of you to know, Shelbee, is Luka's mate. And Trenton here is trying to refuse them the opportunity of the mate bond. You listen to me Trenton Kane! YOU, have officially caused your own undoing! Because of you Shelbee is GONE! DO YOU HEAR ME!? GONE! She chose her mate bond over you! You should be ashamed of yourself. You have lost your one and only child, and you have lost the future alpha of this pack, all over greed, and hatred. I have loved you for over 22 years Trenton, but tonight, you have lost my love. I know how much this is going to hurt but if you cannot get over this then I am done! I, Lydia Elsie Laine, Luna of the Dark Star Pack of Rockenberg, reject you Alpha Trenton Kane Laine of the Dark Star Pack of Rockenberg !" Gasps followed the s**t show that was unfolding, I fell to my knees as i felt my bond break with my wife. "HOW DARE YOU," I started and Lydia whirled around and said, " NO TRENTON, HOW DARE YOU!? Dont you dare patronize me after what you just tried to do to your daughter! She ran quickly upstairs and came down with a bag. She then stated, " You have done this to yourself Trenton. Until you can come to your senses, you will NEVER find Shelbee or I. If you ever do, the moon goddess will tell us when we can come back! Good bye."

I have never felt so grounded to this one spot in my entire life. I told everyone to go home. I needed to think of something and fast. I cannot believe i said to screw the moon goddess. She wasnt lying when she said this would be my undoing... How am i going to fix this...? I could feel as Lydia and Shelbee both drove farther and farther away and my heart was breaking. I was finished....
