I was working one of my rare shifts at the hospital which was good timing because I was able to convince one of my co-workers to draw some blood so I could do a pregnancy blood test. It was more accurate anyway, and I would know if I was pregnant by the end of the day.
I was about to walk around the corner towards the front of the hospital when something pulled me back. I stopped shortly and paused, then I heard it. Him, my nameless, bastard of an ex, was at my place of employment looking for me. Fortunately, Xavier and Carson had the foresight to place several pack members as security for the hospital, and they were well versed in the protocol as it related to me.
