Once we arrived at the pack house, we gathered in Xavier’s office. He didn’t want to anyone in the pack to overhear what I had to say, so we crowded in. Happily, I sat on Carson’s lap with my arm around his neck, and his arms wrapped around my waist. We were waiting for Jessica who was putting Jack to bed. I was distracted with Carson’s perfect lips so close to mine, and soon we were caught up in our own little bubble full of little kisses, flirty whispers, and a few nips. Wade coughed loudly to get our attention.
“Sorry,” I murmured. Jessica grinned as she walked in, “don’t apologize. My wonderful mate has completely forgotten what it’s like to be newly mated.” She looked over at him. “Remember when you used to flirt with me?”
