Honestly, I wasn’t sure what would happen if Adde couldn’t find this stupid herb and finish balancing her magic. I was about to lose my mind with the level of pent-up s****l frustration I was experiencing. But it was more than that. I loved her and wanted to share my life with her in all the weird small ways that I used to roll my eyes about—sharing coffee in the morning, fighting, making up, missing my favorite t-shirt because she insists on wearing it—I sighed. The only thing that was keeping me grounded was the fact that losing Adde would probably kill me, but I didn’t want to lose her, I just … I wanted her. All of her.
