Kelsey POV After I read Elias’s text, I waited a minute to formulate my reply. I knew I wanted to tell him that I knew about the journalist, and I wanted to let him know that I didn’t need his protection from them. I had started getting used to seeing him every day, that not seeing him this week made me feel a little rejected and I didn’t know how to really sort those feelings out.
