I don’t know when we fell asleep, but I woke up lying head-to-head with Elias and he was still asleep. I didn’t want to wake him, so I quietly climbed off the couch and walked into the bathroom in my bedroom and brushed my teeth and washed my face. After I was done, I grabbed a new spare toothbrush, a new tube of toothpaste, and a face towel and placed them into my guest bathroom. When I was done, I went into the kitchen to put on a pot of blend then sat back on the couch and watched Elias sleeping. He looked so peaceful and comfortable; I couldn’t help but smile.
