I didn’t want to admit it, but Love Jones was one of the movies I used to like also. I watched it years ago with Vanessa and she said she didn’t really like it. She felt it was predictable and low budget. I thought it was one of the better black love films and considered it to be as good as Love and Basketball, The Wood, and The Best Man. Seeing Kelsey’s face light up at seeing it on the list made me smile. After I grabbed our blend, cinnamon rolls, and Kelsey a blanket I went back to the media game room and sat down the blend and rolls before draping the blanket over her and kissing her forehead.
