I knew I wanted to stay with her, and I knew she really needed me but I still had my afternoon class and I had made plans to grab Nickel’s Barbecue Pit with Kor. I had plans on bringing her some dinner at the café while she was working but it appears she may have called off.
“I have class in about thirty minutes, but I can come back afterwards. I’m supposed to grab dinner with Kor but I’m sure he will understand. So, I can be back by 7:30 pm if you really want me to stay the night. Do you have a shift tonight?” I said and she smiled.
