I stared at her, completely dumbfounded.
“Immortality? What does that even mean?” I muttered underneath my breath.
“Selene......” she trailed off, before she finally picked up. “She’s more than you know- more than what even she knows.”
“Is there something I don’t know about her? Agreed. We all know how powerful she is, hence the reason they saw her as destruction back then and tried eliminating her. Isn’t that it? Is there more to that?” my eyes furrowed, as I keenly stared at Mum.
“That’s what they made you believe. They weren’t after her and her child back then because of the prophecy of her bringing forth destruction. There was more to it.”
“Like what?”
