Nora/Camilla’s POV
“The one you gave birth to twenty years ago,” he calmly replied, with a smirk on his face.
I couldn’t believe my ears- couldn't believe any word that came out of my father’s mouth. I searched his eyes, hoping to see any trace of lies in them, but all I could see was the truth staring right back at me.
He was actually telling the truth- he meant every single word he said.
“That night twenty years ago when you ran away, you were delivered of your baby girl by your friend, Vanessa. I didn’t know until a few months after, when Vanessa walked into my mansion with your legacy held in her arms. She told me you got taken away by a strange man and left your child in her care. You abandoned your child for a man, Nora,” he said, his voice laced with disgust.
