We Have Arrived.

I was startled awake when the car started to shake.
“What’s going on!”, I was startled.
Xander put his hand on my shoulder to help put me at ease.
Zach calls back, “We are on a gravel road, about five minutes from the compound.”
I looked up at both Xander and Ryker, asking, “I slept for three hours?”
They both nodded their heads.
The car came to a stop. The front doors opened up and so did the back door.
“Are we there?”, I asked Gabriel who was standing at the back of the car.
Ryker jumped out as Gabriel got in, “No, we will be there in about five minutes. I just wanted to explain the game plan.”
“Oh, okay.”
All of a sudden the car came to a start and started to move.
I guess one of the other guys is driving the last few minutes to the house.
“Kaname has a two car garage to himself, so we will pull into there to unload you. All you have to do is just lay there. We will unbuckle the hospital bed from the hooks in the car.”, Gabriel starts explaining.
I interrupted him, “But how will you get the bed out of the car without me falling out of the bed?”
He looks at me as if I was stupid, “I, Zach, Xander, and Ryker will each take a corner of the bed and lift you safely from the vehicle. Then we will take the elevator up to the top floor to Kaname’s master suite.”
“What do you mean Kaname’s master suite?”, I asked
Gabriel clears his throat before continuing, “Well Kaname wants you to be close to him so that he can make sure you are healing correctly.”
“Why is he so interested in my health and safety? Like this goes over and beyond what a doctor should do.”
“That would be a question to ask Kaname himself. I am not sure of his personal reasons for helping you like he is.”
“Maybe I will ask him the next time I see him.”
Gabriel pats my hand, “Okay well do you have any other questions before we unload you?”
I didn’t notice that we had come to stop and had already parked in the garage.
“No I don’t”, I responded as the back doors of the hearse were opened.
Zach, Ryker, and I am assuming the female with them is Samantha.
“Okay boys, let's get her down from the car.”, Gabriel said
Xayden got down on his hands and knees to unhook the hospital bed from the vehicle. Once he was done he got back up to grab the top left corner of my bed, while Gabriel grabbed the top right corner.
Ryker and Zach grabbed the bottom two corners and started to pull me out. I worry about whether they can lift me and the bed. That is a lot of weight to hold between me and the bed. Once I was at the edge of the car, the men picked up the bed and lifted me out of the car. Within two seconds I was put on the ground again.
“Now that that part is done, we can get you settled in your room.”, Zach said.
The female walks up to me and introduces herself, “Hi, my name is Samantha or Sam for short. I will be helping you settle in till Paula can come back.”
“Hi Samantha, it’s nice to meet you. Paula told me you would be helping me.”, I greeted her.
We shake hands as she asks, “Is there anything I can do now before we get moving? Are you warm enough?”
I responded, “No, I don’t think so. I am just ready to get to the room so I can rest.”
“That’s good.”, she said.
“Though I am hurting quite a bit.”, I told Samantha.
Samantha checks her watch, while responding, “You are due for another dosage of five milligrams of Oxycodone, so when we get you up to the room we will get you another dosage.”
“Okay.”
Zach pipes in with, “If everything is good now, we will get you up to the room.”
“I agree. Let’s get going.”, Gabriel agreed with Zach.
