I love you

Ch 2

He’s standing there with a girl wrapped tightly in his arms. They stared into each other's eyes with smiles plastered all over their faces. He looks so happy and she giggles at how he’s staring at her. She giggles even more as he starts to kiss her neck slowly. He picks her. “I love you” he says to her before going in for a long kiss. She’s in his shirt, the shirt that I got for him. She sees me first and tries to disguise herself, hiding behind him. “What-” he says before looking in my direction. He’s frozen still but then pushes her away and says “baby i-”. I didn't dare look at him, I couldn’t and ran down the stairs trying to get away. I grabbed my things and ran out as fast as I could and could not look back, leaving the door wide open behind me. I jumped into my car and stepped on the gas as hard as I possibly could, speeding down the road with tears running down my cheek. I stopped at our spot, the very spot that reminded me of him and parked. I sit and stare at my hands, I stare at them feeling so much heartache, so much pain. I sat there unable to move, unable to believe what I just saw, tears like waterfalls running down my face. Then it all hits and the tears rush down my face, unable to stop. I lay my head on the steering wheel. Grabbing it as the pain in my chest grows. Grabbing at it turned into punching it. Hit after hit, it didn’t help. I got out of the car. Kicking and screaming at it. I pace back and forth around my car, pulling on my hair, trying my best not to break even more. It starts to rain, the rain runs and I fall against the car and cry again. I’m drenched but I just sit there hugging my knees, crying, unable to get up. My head and my heart hurt. It feels like someone just shot a big hole in my chest. I continue to cry until I can’t. I sit there, as the rain pours down on my body. The rain doesn't stop and I get back into the car and drive off. As I’m driving, I start to think and that’s when I get angry, I clench the steering wheel, digging my nails into its leather. I start to drive faster. Out of nowhere there’s a truck and I black out. One minute I remember seeing nothing but rain on the road, then I woke up in a hospital bed. My eyes take a few minutes to adjust and everything is blurry for a few minutes. As they adjusted, I slowly looked around and saw my mom crying, her head laid down on the hospital bed facing me. Everything is still a bit blurry and my head is swirling. I try to sit up but pain shoots through my body and I wince. She notices me moving and runs up to me, holding me tightly in her arms. Her tears fell from her face to mine. She tried to ask me questions while crying, but a doctor entered the room calling out to my mom. “Mom”, I said, and she gave me a reassuring look with tears running down her face before exiting the room. My legs hurt, so I looked at them with curiosity. I gasped as I looked at them. There are bruises and cuts along my arms and legs. I feel them and start to cry. I’m trying to remember what happened to me when there's a sudden intense pain in my leg and I scream in pain. A whole bunch of nurses come inside running to me and mumbling things to each other. I could see from the door that the doctor was holding my mom back. They held me down, gave me a shot and as I slowly fell asleep I could hear my mom shouting my name.
