THIRD PERSON POV
Maverick's heart pondered deep within his chest as he paced back and forth in the hotel room. He had his phone in his hands as he stared at it with Elissa's contact on the screen. His mind was conflicted on what to do, he doesn't know if he should let her in on what's going on or he should ignore it and face it head-on alone.
‘I'm the alpha of my pack, protecting my Luna is my duty and not both of us. I know she is strong but right now there is something she loves more in this world and that's her pup. If I should tell her about this it will get her agitated and stressed which might affect the baby but…'
