Chapter Seventy-TwoOnce done from the third level, I headed back to the living-quarters. I had one more thing to do before I collected Vincent, shifted to Earth and delivered the bad news. The acrid smell of sulfur clung to me like a second skin. Near the entrance to the recreational chamber, I let out my talons, gave a low, menacing snarl. Some voices from inside cut off, but not all. “Angelina!” I snarled when I reached the entrance, surveyed the people inside.
