Elena's POV
With so many people watching my sufferings, rumors quickly spread throughout the estate, and the whole estate was talking about me seducing Mr. Leonardo.
Since I was a little girl, I had faced ridicule and abuse from others, and I was often beaten, and before I was beaten or scolded, they always found a strange reason, no matter how absurd. I could argue with one person, but when there were more people, no one would believe me if I said I didn't do these things. My mother was a traitor, so naturally I can't be a good person either.
Since I was a child, everyone thought so, even if I never stole a snack from the kitchen or washed my clothes.
But no one cared what kind of person I really was, as if because my mother was a traitor, I must also be something lowly.
