Chapter 4: The Jealous Rich Girl The next day, Eben invited Benice to visit his university. As they walked together across the campus, many students turned to look at them. Some whispered quietly. “Isn’t that Eben, the billionaire’s son?” “Yes… but who is that girl with him?” Not far away, a beautiful and elegant girl was watching them carefully. Her name was Vanessa. Vanessa was the daughter of a very rich businessman and one of the most popular girls at the university. Many people believed she would eventually become Eben’s girlfriend. But the moment she saw Eben laughing with Benice, her expression changed. “Who is that girl?” Vanessa asked her friend. “I heard her name is Benice,” her friend replied. “She’s not rich at all.” Vanessa’s eyes narrowed. “A poor girl walking beside Eben?” she said coldly. She watched as Eben gently helped Benice carry her books. Jealousy burned inside her heart. “No,” Vanessa whispered to herself. “Eben belongs to my world, not hers.” A slow, dangerous smile appeared on her face. “If she thinks she can take Eben away from me,” Vanessa said quietly, “then she is going to regret it.” Chapter 5: Their First Romantic Date ❤️ That evening, Eben called Benice. “Are you free tonight?” he asked. Benice hesitated. “Why?” “I want to take you somewhere special.” Later that night, Eben arrived at her house in a beautiful black car. Benice was surprised. “You came all the way here?” she asked. Eben smiled. “I told you I waited ten years to see you again. One night is nothing.” He took her to a quiet restaurant near the river, where soft lights reflected on the water. It was peaceful and beautiful. Benice looked around in amazement. “I’ve never been to a place like this before,” she said. Eben smiled warmly. “You deserve it.” They talked for hours, laughing and sharing stories about their lives. At one moment, Eben looked at her seriously. “Benice,” he said softly, “meeting you again feels like fate.” Benice felt her cheeks become warm. Just then, Eben gently reached for her hand. “I’m really happy you came back,” he said. But across the street, inside a parked car, someone was watching them. Vanessa. Her eyes were full of anger. “So this is your ‘special girl’?” she whispered. Her lips slowly curved into a cold smile. “Don’t worry, Benice,” she said quietly. “This love story will not last long.” And the real trouble for Eben and Benice was only beginning. Chapter 6: The Rich Party Trap 😱 A few days after Eben and Benice’s romantic dinner, Vanessa decided it was time to act. Her parents were hosting a luxurious party at their mansion. Many wealthy families, businessmen, and important people in the city were invited. Vanessa smiled when she sent an invitation to Eben. “Bring your special friend,” she added sweetly. Eben did not suspect anything. He thought Vanessa was trying to be polite. So that evening, Eben arrived at the mansion with Benice. Benice felt nervous as she stepped into the large hall filled with elegant dresses, shining chandeliers, and rich guests. “I don’t think I belong here,” she whispered to Eben. Eben gently held her hand. “You belong wherever I am,” he said softly. But from across the room, Vanessa was watching them. Soon she walked onto the stage and took the microphone. “Ladies and gentlemen,” Vanessa said with a bright smile, “tonight we have a very special guest.” She pointed toward Benice. “This is Eben’s… very close friend.” People began whispering. Vanessa continued with a fake laugh. “Why don’t you come up and tell everyone about yourself? I’m sure they would love to know where you come from.” Benice felt hundreds of eyes staring at her. Her hands trembled. Vanessa leaned closer and whispered cruelly, “Tell them the truth… that you’re just a poor girl who doesn’t belong in this world.” Before Benice could answer, Eben suddenly stepped forward. “That’s enough,” he said firmly. The room fell silent. He stood beside Benice and looked directly at Vanessa. “Respect her,” Eben said coldly. “Or respect me enough to stay quiet.” Vanessa’s smile slowly disappeared. But her anger only grew stronger.
