Nine million?
That was an outrageous request. Nathan even laughed, because it seemed absurd to him. The gang leader bristled. He had not expected his request to be met with humor.
“What’s so funny, huh?” He snarled, embarrassed and upset. “You want my men to go at you again?”
“Chill man,” Nathan said, holding back his laughter. “I just… no one is going to give you that amount. Nobody has that much money to waste. As a matter of fact, this Paragon Group Inc. has already invested so much into this project. There is nothing more they can do.”
While the gang leader mulled over this, Nathan inwardly scoffed. Nine million? Yeah right. Of course it was money. He should have known that this matter would eventually end in a money request.
