Chapter Four

I don't know why I felt so angry and jealous when I saw Lily sitting with Sarah holding her hand. I have always felt drawn to Lily, but I also felt drawn to Sarah. When Lily said they were mates, I was pissed. I walked out of the room to outside. I walked into the training arena and started beating the crap out of a punching bag. I did not understand what I was feeling and why.

I stayed out there until I could feel some of my anger subside. I walked back to my room to have a shower. After my shower I felt better and calm, although still slightly annoyed. I decided to go to the kitchen and grab something to eat since I had missed dinner. I looked at the clock and was shocked when I saw it was nearly midnight. Well, I guess it was time to meet my wolf.

I heated up the plate an omega left for me from dinner. I sat down and started eating while I waited for my wolf to awaken. I had finished eating and made my way up to my room. I paused for a second on the stairs on the Beta floor. I could smell a faint smell of peaches and roses. I shook my head and continued to my room. I had just laid down on my bed when I heard a voice.

"Hello James. I am Andreas. It is nice to meet you. Happy Birthday." My wolf said.

I could feel my strength increase now that my wolf had woken. I wondered what he would look like. I was muscular and tall, standing at 6'6". I had black hair and rare colored eyes, one emerald green, the other one blue. I was next in line to take over as Alpha with Jackson as my Beta. I knew I needed to get some sleep as mom was throwing a party for me and Lily to celebrate our birthdays. I had a feeling she had also invited Sarah to be apart of the party as well. With my thoughts on both Lily and Sarah, I drifted off to sleep.

I woke up to the sound of complete chaos and my mother's voice and she ordered people around to set up the party. I looked at my phone and noticed I only had a couple of hours until the party. I knew if I didn't get up and start getting ready mom would have my head. I quickly got up, showered and dressed. I walked down to help mom with the party setup. Passing the Beta floor, I caught the faint smell of peaches and roses again. So faint I almost thought I imagined it.

Before I could process anymore, I heard my mom storm into the house.

"James Donovan Black! You had better be awake mister. Get down here and help." She yelled, walking towards the stairs.

"I was already on my way, mother." I said as I continued down the stairs to the backyard.

"Happy Birthday my baby." Mom said, coming over and hugging me tight. "Now go set up the food tables."

I went over and helped set up the rest of the party. Once everything was done, pack members started to arrive. Everyone wished me a happy birthday. I could see the girls looking at me hopefully just to see their faces fall when nothing happened. The party had started almost half an hour ago and I had yet to see Lily and Sarah. I searched for Jackson to ask him where the girls were at. Both of them not being here made me feel uneasy for some reason.

"Hey man. Happy birthday." Jackson said when I walked over. "Any luck on finding your mate yet?"

"Thanks man and no. Hey, where are Lily and Sarah? I haven't seen them yet and it's their party too." I asked him. I hoped they were still coming.

" Oh, they are on their way. Just running late. They went into town to see Sarah's mother. I guess she was freaking out when Sarah did not come home last night. They also explained Sarah's situation and that took longer than they thought," Jackson said.

After hearing that, I breathed out a sigh of relief. I don't know why I am so anxious today. Even Andreas was pacing around in my head. He seemed restless. I was just about to ask him why when I caught the smell of fresh peaches. It made my mouth water. Soon after, I caught the smell of the sweetest rose on a summer day. My mouth watered even more. Following the smell, I looked for who it belonged to.

I walked over towards the pack house when my eyes landed on the two most beautiful girls in the world. I watched as they both sniffed the air, then looked around for the source of the smell. Then they both looked at me and I watched them stop and stare.

"Mate." We all said at once.

"Well s**t, this just got interesting." Jackson said, walking up behind me.

I walked over to both my girls and pulled them both into my arms, needing to feel them close to me. I loved the feeling of sparks that traveled through me everywhere they touched me. I looked down at them both with all the love in the world and smiled at them. They were mine and I would love and protect them until my dying breath. I gently grabbed Lily's face and kissed her gently. I pulled back then grabbed Sarah's face and kissed her gently.

I don't know how or why I was blessed with two mates, but I couldn't have been happier and I thanked the Moon Goddess. They were so beautiful. I released them and held one of each of their hands and turned to walk back into the party. I had no intention of letting them leave my sight for the rest of the night. I led them over to a table and pulled them both onto my lap and held them tight. Andreas was purring in my head.

I felt Sarah turn and reach for Lily's face, pulling her close and kissing her. Lily reached one hand behind Sarah's head and deepened the kiss. Her other hand she ran through my hair. I soon felt Sarah's hand run over my torso. I could feel myself getting hard and I let out a low soft growl. My girls stopped kissing and looked at me giggling. They both leaned forward and planted kisses on me.

I heard a throat clearing in front of us and both girls looked up and turned around. Our parents were standing there looking confused. I shook my head to clear out the last of the lustful haze from my brain. I looked at our parents with a dead serious face and cleared my throat.

"Mom, Dad, Kyle, Ellen. I believe you have already met my mates."

I watched as their faces turned from confusion to pure happiness.
