"Girl, he said he liked you?" Mindy asked me in disbelief as she took a left. It was raining now so she kept her eyes glued to the road as she drove her car carefully. We were now going back home from our office. I reported everything that happened during lunch hours to Mindy as she started her car. She tuned in to me without interrupting until I informed her what he declared to me. If it wasn't for the rainfall, I am pretty certain that she would have watched at me incredulously without paying concern to the road, "Yeah, I understood that loud and clear" I murmured, recalling the way his face showed when he told me that.
