I gawked at him as if he had spoken something in an alien language. My eyes expanded as I processed the words, "You're asking me to go out on a date with you?" I narrowed my eyes at him, pointing my hand towards him and then at me and back to him again.
Isn't it unusual that someone as attractive as him choosing to go out with someone like me? Or maybe it is just me who understood him wrong. It is next to impossible for him to be interested in me.
