"You broke up, why!" I inwardly panicked, as our relation teetered pending the success of our matrons' relationship. "Yes, and it was by mutual resolution, girls," Ollie grasped Ronnie's hand. "I was going to wait till tomorrow night, but now is a good a time as ever. Roxanne, Veronica I'm dating Abram." Abram, Ronnie's infamous dad who finds same s*x relations deplorable. "What the hell! Mom why him," I glanced at V. "Honey, I know it sounds insane, but I met with him for Ollie and we started conversing. The relationship just grew from there as Ollie became perimenopausal." "This is- I don't know what to say," V stuttered as she stood. "I'm so sorry, V. I didn't want to announce this today, bu-" "No, don't blame Roxi and I for our curiosity. I- I think I need space." "Hon hold on, allow Micky to expl-" "No, mom. This isn't about her and dad," she replied before she walked away. I pushed my chair back and dashed after V. Yet she was too quick and ran out the door. By the time I reached the driveway, she'd disappeared. "God dam, can she run." I heaved as I was bent over. I rose up and parked my ass on the bumper of our car. I through my head back and glared at the glorious sunset. I cursed the sky's magnificent splendor as my dreams we're bombing. I didn't need to wait for V's return to know our relationship was be over. Though I'd contest, V wouldn't see reason. As her patriarch is a Rabbi and doesn't approve of same s*x couples. Rather than confront him or even hide our relation, she'll tank it. As a babe obsessed with ardor, you'd think she'd brawl anyone for standing in her way. "I'm sorry Roxi, I shouldn't have allowed her to be my mediator." "No one's at fault. We don't have control of whom we fall for. I'm surprised Abram could fall for mom. I imagine there's a few motives to disuade him from continuing a liaison." "Who can say. The heart tends to ignore the cons presented. Allowing us to reside in love's bubble. Brainwashed with the idea of what we've decided that person is." "That's quite the bleak narrative, Ollie." "The opion of one who hasn't combated homicide of a meaningful relationship." "I'd aimed to dodge any threat to V and I's relationship. Yet it slipped my memory that we're seperate in gestures and motility. Making it impossible for one or the other to tip the scale in a favorable outcome." "That is the resounding echo of young love. You my dear, are young and shall find another paramour, however they won't be your soul mate. Your soul mate shall be your third, upon a row of fleeting beaus. However singlehood will reside for what you'll state is the longest period of your life." After Ollie finished speaking a suffocating silence settled. Rendered speechless I continued to gaze at the navy horizon. In awe of the twinkling stars I almost missed Ollie's departure. "Do. Do you believe we had a chance? Veronica and I?" "Perhaps, if you girls had skipped Thanksgiving. However Micky and Abram's relationship wouldn't have escaped your notice. I believe uncovering this now, is for the better for both of you." With that said, Ollie turned and headed inside. Soon I grew mad by the thoughts swirling about my mind. I slipped my hand in my bra and grasped the keys. Determined to go after V and convince her to not give up on what we have. Me: Going after V. Mom: Okay. She can't have gotten far. Ollie: Text when you have her. Me: V will Text you. Me: As she chose to run. I waited thirty seconds for either to reply and when they didn't I jumped into the car. ☀️? First location I checked was with her friend, Jetta. When she opened the door Indigo was behind her. "Hey, Jetta. I'm scouring the town for Veronica, is she here by chance?" "Umm no, I haven't seen her in person since your grad party." "Thanks, happy turkey day to you and your family." Jetta simply slammed the door in my face. I jogged to my car and gasses it. I drove to Booksville, her favorite store hoping to find her sitting in the floor with a book. I entered the mostly empty store with one lone teenage worker at the register. "Welcome to Booksville, how may I book you," the girl tepidly greeted. "I'm only seeking my girlfriend, thank you." "Ugh, no f*****g in the aisles," she groaned in disgust. "Uh that's disgusting, I'm here to retrieve her, that's all." "As if I've never heard that lie before." I simply ignored the clerk and began searching through the aisles. Coming up empty I returned the front of the store. "Thanks for not f*****g, and come again." She dismissed me as she switched off the LED sign off. I shook my head and dashed to my warm car. I remained parked at the lot, racking my brain where to look next. Go to Nellie's bar. Go to Nellie's bar. Go to Nellie's bar. My conscious repeatedly insisted until they broke me. I shoved the gear shift in D and headed towards the one bar that served underaged patrons. About fifteen minutes later I parked horizontally against the store strip. I rushed inside and scoured the counter for V. She was at the far end of the bartop, with a colorful cocktail in front of her. I timidly proceeded towards her and climbed into the stool next to her. "What can I get you," the male bartender inquired as he was refilling a beer mug. "An armaretto with sweet & sour mix." "I.D.?" I dug through my purse and pulled out my wallet. I slipped the card out and handed it to him. "All good," after glancing at it. After my I.D. and wallet were safely away, I silently waited for my drink. I took my time swigging my drink, anticipating a word from V. Yet the fifteen minutes it took me to finish my drink, was silent. I paid the barkeep for both are drinks and turned to V. She'd managed to drink half her large cocktail and was toying with the straw. "Come on babe, let's go home, I took placed a hand over hers. I stared as she gulped down the rest of her drink and grabbed the orange slice. After she stood, I clasped her hand and guided her to the vehicle. I opened the passenger door, helped her in and buckled her. As I jogged around to the front I dug in my purse for my cell. Once I'd found it I slid into the driver's seat. As I tapped on the group chat, the radio snapped to life playing Watermelon Sugar by Harry Styles. I twisted the volume knob down a few decibels and texted the matriarchs. Me: Got our girl O: Baruch Hashem! (Praise god) Mom: Where was she? Me: At Nellie's O: Is she wasted? Me: Just tipsy Mom: You're not texting driving are you? Me: No the car is parked O: Hury home! Me: Will do I switched gears and sped off in the direction of home. I felt utterly alone as I drove with V pickled and up beat music blaring. I willed this icky weekend to end. Yet then I'd have to confront the ending to V and I's relationship. I wished to knock both out with one stone, but I didn't think it would be feasible. With a heavy spirit I drove home, occasionally staring at V bopping to the beat. I resented she could be drunk and in a different universe. While I had to be responsible, caretaker, and deal with these dam emotions. It's just the way things go for us. My conscious grumbled. When we reached the driveway the low beams revealed the matriarchs sitting on the bumper of my mom's vehicle. As soon as I cut the engine the matriarchs rushed the passenger side and guided V inside. I grabbed my purse and locked the car before heading inside the house. Once inside I jogged upstairs to our old room to take a load off. When I opened the door our suitcases were inside, but V wasn't. I shucked my shoes and entered the bathroom. I disrobed and turned on the shower, while I waited I tapped YouTube. I typed Daisy The Great in the search bar and chose the first album. I checked the water and twisted the knob towards cold. I got in and closed my eyes as the water flowed over my body. I opened my eyes and saw a naked Veronica in front of me. "Ver-" She placed her hands on my face and collided her lips with mine. Her passion ignited a fire inside me and I grasped her hips. "Oooooh Veronica? Baby, where are you? Oh there. You. Are." A voice snapped me to the present and I pulled my face away from V. I to see Ollie standing in our bathroom. I grasped V's arms and maneuvered her in front of me to hide my nudity. "Hii," I waved in greeting. "I was looking for Veronica," Ollie turned her head up, down and to the side. "Welp, inders keepers," I wrapped my arms round V's waist and she giggled. "Okaaay... Keep an eye on her, Ollie ordered before hurridly escaping. After Ollie left I moved V's head under the water, and grabbed the shampoo. As I washed, V grabbed one boob and sucked the n****e of the other one. "Mmmm," I moaned and squirted shampoo on her head. I whirled us around and rubbed the soap through her hair as the water rinsed the my scalp. When it was her turn to rinse, I dropped my hand to her nether region. I slipped a soapy finger on her button and methodically rubbed. After a moan slipped from her lips, she pushed me into the wall. I pressed my lips to hers as she rubbed a finger on my c**t. We continued masterbating each other until we mutually came then I switched off the shower. I grabbed our towels and entered our bedroom to dress. As I sat on the edge of my bed I felt her tongue on my c**t. I moaned and lowered my head against the bed. "Oh godddd! "Right therrre!" "Yesss!" "Oooh yesss!" "Ooooh!" "Ooooh! "Godddd!" "Ooooh yeaaaah!" "I'm cummming!" After I settled down my eyes fell on the door and saw it was shut. I rose up and pulled V to her feet. I twirled us around and shoved her onto the bed. I knelt at her feet and pressed her legs wide. I glanced down at her waterfall and marveled at how wet she was from giving me oral. I bent my head and placed my tongue on her periwinkle and rubbed in circular motions. "Oo!" "Roooxi!" "Right therrre!" "Yessss!" "Mmmm!" "Oh yeaaah!" "Gooood!" "I'm gonna cuuum!" "Oh! Oh! God!" A few more licks and V was gushing onto my mouth and face. After she'd finished I sat back on my heels. I grabbed whatever clothing was on the bed and wiped my face. I stood and layed down next to her. I covered us with my comforter and wrapped an arm around V. "I love you, Roxie." "I love you too, Ronnie." The Next Morning... I awoke at five a.m. and dressed in ripped Jean shorts, a cropped v-neck with a pocket. I slipped on ankle socks and my high tops. I ran my fingers through my hair and kissed V's cheek before heading downstairs. In the kitchen I found Micky and Ollie sitting opposite with mugs and laptops. "Goodmorning, sweetie." "Morning, Rox." "Morning," I replied to no one in particular. I stepped to the coffee maker and poured myself a cup of coffee. I took a careful sip and felt my body waking from hibernation. ☀️?
