“I’m glad you are back little sis, Dad will be so happy.” Ray said.
Yes, it feels good to be back home after three years in a relationship that I didn’t enjoy.
We got home and everyone were happy I was back. Dad broke down in tears when he saw me. I regretted going against his will to marry Charles.
“Welcome back my princess, daddy is happy to have you home.” He said and immediately hugged him and poured all my tears.
“Calm down. I know you are hurt but we are going to make the Windors pay for what the did to you.”
I nodded my head and walked hand in hand with my dad and brother to the dinning table where food were displayed. It sure did feel good to be home.
“I’ve made arrangements for your clothes to be changed and party to be organized. It’s time to tell the world that the heiress of the Clark family is back.” Dad said and Ray nodded in agreement.
“Dad, don’t you think it’s too early for that?” I asked.
“Well, let it be hosted next wee then.” He said and I smiled.
Before getting married to Charles, I once enjoyed my life as the heiress of the Clark family. The mist richest family in New York City. But since Charles wasn’t stable and I didn’t want him to feel bad that I was rich than him, I decided to disguise.
I acted as a low worker all thanks to the help of my dad. I helped Xharles secretly in building his business and when he rose to the top, he forgot about me.

Aside from been an heiress , I am a jewelry designer the best in the country and I’m glad I could finally resume my career once again.
“Valerie, you have an invitation to a jewelry auction tomorrow and the host would like you to be there.” Ray said as he hand over the invitation card.
I realized that Charles would be there too since he was into Jewelries too all thanks to me.
Early this morning, I had told my lawyer to arrange the divorce papers, the auction would be a nice place to give the documents to him, I thought.
Dad gave me one of the unlimited card to take myself shopping in preparation of the event the next day. I didn’t want to go alone so I called my best friend whom I neglected because Charles didn’t want me around any other man.
“Hey Leo. I’m very sorry for calling now after these years. I didn’t mean to push you away, I did it because of Charles.” I said as I began to cry.
“You’re still a cry baby Val. I’m not mad at you and I clearly understand. I’m glad you are divorcing him.” He said.
“How do you know?”
“I’ve got an informant. Forgotten?” He asked while laughing.
Ray. Leo and Ray have been close friends and I was sure he couldn’t hold back on telling Leo that I was getting divorced.
“Would you like to accompany me for free shopping.” I asked and he immediately accepted offering to pick me up.
We got to the mall and few minutes into shopping I spotted Fiona and Charles walking to where I was. It seems they and shopping.
“Look who is here Charles.” Fiona said
I became pissed that I had to fold my fist to control my anger.
“So he is the reason you wanted a divorce, huh?”
“That is none of your business and not your right to ask Mr Charles.” I said with a smile.
He was shocked as this was the first time I was addressing him in a formal way. He was about to say something but I didn’t give him the chance. I held Leo’s hand and walked away from them.
“How can a low life work like her be in this mall where expensive clothes are sold. I’m m sure it’s that man that’s paying for it.” I over heard Fiona say.
“Enough.” Charles silent her.
I continued checking out clothes and trying them on for Leo to see and help me select. Charles stood at a corner watching me but I didn’t care.
After my clothes were packaged I felt the need to use the restroom so I told Leo and he agreed to wait for me.
After using the toilet, I came out to wash my hands only ti see Charles leaning by the door.
“I’m sure your not blind to know that this toilet is for women Mr Charles.”
The next moment I was pinned on the wall and I tried to struggle away.
“Are you trying to make me Jealous Valerie??”
“Jealous of what?”
“Why is Leo with you? Is he your new man or you have been cheating on me before.”
Looking at the man who cheated on me calling me a cheat, it angered me and I used all my might to push him away.
“You have no right to know about my life again Mr Charles.” I said and made my way out only to be met by Fiona.
“You b***h, why are you with my man in the toilet?” She said and made to slap me only to be stopped by Charles.
I turned around and eyed both of them before answering Fiona.
“Teach your man to stay away from his ex.” I said before walking away.
“What took you soo long?” Leo asked looking worried.
“Charles was trying to have discussions which I wasn’t ready for.”
“Do you want me to warn him to stay aware from you??” He asked.
“Not today Leo, let’s go home.” I answered and together we walked to the packing lot.
Finally home, I had my lunch together with Leo and talked about my career. He was happy that I have decided to start all over again. I too was happy for myself.
Clothes check, shoes and accessories checked. I retired to bed after I had my shower. The thought of Charles betrayal hit me once more but I promised myself not to think about it so I closed my eyes and slept.
Tomorrow was a big day, the queen of the jewelry industry was going to be seen after 3 years.
Yes, I am finally back.
