Izzy burst through my office door without knocking. I was on my feet and grabbing her by the throat in an instant.
I slammed her back against the wall and snarled in her face.
Izzy gripped my hand and held, her expression calm, but there was fear in her wide eyes.
“What?" I demanded.
“The girls went down to the dungeons."
“Find Lance and a few other warriors. We're getting rid of those damn ferals today."
Izzy nodded and blurred out of my office.
I don't know why but I grabbed two stakes from my desk before leaving my office.
I jogged down to the basement and then shoved through the dungeon door just in time to hear a screech of a cage door opening.
My heart plummeted into my gut.

I tore off and blurred to a stop in front of Ellie and Kate just as the ferals lunged
