Episode 19 - Resurrected Enemy

After some times, the Guild Master returned with the blue tea. It was still piping hot because steam can be seen above the cup. The secretary was with the Guild Master this time and said her formalities.

Secretary: Hello, sir! (bows) It's an honor to finally meet the Guild Master's Master. I hope you've been well. I take it that you're the one who broke through in the footage?

Mr. Lucius: Hohoho! At least somebody respects me around here, right dear apprentice? And yes, it was me.

Master: It's because she still doesn't know who really are. I bet she couldn't finish one month under your guidance.

Mr. Lucius: Oh, a bet eh? What are we betting?

Master: I'll give you two years worth of blue tea if my secretary's abilities will be able to injure me in just one month. Excluding her Ultimate.

Mr. Lucius: And what if I lose?

Master: Tell me the name of the Human that possesses the Platinum Essence.

Mr. Lucius: What?! (releases murderous intent) I told you to let me handle it for now! Don't try me, brat!

Master: Don't misunderstand. I won't try to contact him. I just want to know for future interactions. I just want to be ready to meet anytime. You don't want me to be on his bad side on our first meeting, right? And just because he's the Platinum Essence holder doesn't he can protect his family anytime, right? We'll protect his family in the shadows when he's away. I don't want a godly being rampaging because his parents died.

Mr. Lucius: I guess you have a point there. (withdraws murderous intent) Ok, deal. But you better be serious about this. Trust me, nobody in this world can stop him if he wants to destroy the world. Even if you have a thousand Gold Essence Cultivator.

Master: I get it, already. Just train my secretary for a month starting tomorrow. I still need her today.

Mr. Lucius: You better! Since this meeting is over, I'll be going now. No tailing me. I'll kill anyone who tails me even if they're your men. I can't take any risks. (leaves)

Master: Understood. Farewell, master. (bows)

Secretary: Have a nice day, sir! (bows)

Mr. Lucius left the Guild Master's office and went back to his office a*s fast as he could. Midway he was stopped by an Unknown Person who showed up at his front suddenly.

Unknown Person: Halt!

Mr. Lucius: Who are you?! (releases aura)

Unknown Person: Tell me the name of the person that possesses the Platinum Essence and I'll give you a quick and painless death.

Mr. Lucius: That depends if you have the ability to do so. (gets into his ready stance)

Unknown Person: A mere Silver - Gold Essence - Fourth Stage dares to oppose me? (releases an impure golden aura)

Mr. Lucius: No! It can't be! I thought you already died?!

Unknown Person: Many have fallen for a thought without concrete confirmation.

Mr. Lucius: Looks like this is gonna be a tough one.

Unknown Person: Not for me though. After all these years you're still this weak. Honestly, I'm not surprised.

Mr. Lucius: Grrrr!!!! URIEL!!!!!! Ultimate - Nebula!!!!!

Uriel: Hmp. Resistance is futile. Special Skill - Holy Ray.

The collision of the two powers brought an explosion equal to a nuclear bomb that has the strength of fifteen kilotons of trinitrotoluene (TNT). (hiroshima nuclear bomb equivalent) The explosion shook the earth and a massive shockwave was released. It created a deep crater and and obliterated the surrounding ecosystem. The Guild Master felt this immediately and ran off to the to find the source. He left his secretary without looking back since he knew that one of the energy he felt was from his master, Mr. Lucius. Shortly, he arrive at the center of the explosion and saw that his master, Mr. Lucius, was still breathing but all that's left of him was only the upper half of his body.

Master: No! Master! How could this happen?! Who would have enough power to do this to you?!

Mr. Lucius could not answer because of his extremely serious injury and he could not hear what the Guild Master was saying. His ears were still ringing from the explosion and his vision had gone blurry. Mr. Lucius just closed his eyes and accepted his fate that this is the end of the line for him. Later, Mr. Lucius was in some kind of a dream. He saw a person molding something from clay. Later the clay was finished and Mr. Lucius could see that the clay's figure was like that of a Demon. He heard the person chanting something he could not understand and to his surprise, the clay came to life. The Demon that came to life was both like his Race and different at the same time. He immediately realized that the Demon that came to life was the Ancient Demons that had been recorded in their ancient books. He looked at the person that made the Demon from clay only to see that person staring back at him horrendously. Mr. Lucius got so scared that he woke up from his dream.

Different Unknown Person: Oh, you're awake?

Mr. Lucius: What? I thought that I died already? (tries to get up)

Mr. Lucius was back in his office and was lying on his couch.

Different Unknown Person: If I was a minute late then yes.

Mr. Lucius: Thank you for saving m- (looks at the person who saved him) I thought you won't use your powers anymore, Maki?

Maki: Well, I had to. I couldn't afford to lose my handy man just when I just helped him breakthrough, right? Still, I didn't know that the Guild Master was your apprentice. That sure took me by surprise.

Mr. Lucius: What? You met him?

Maki: Nope. When I arrived he was crying like a baby shouting "master, master" over and over. You should have seen his face all covered in snot and tears.

Mr. Lucius: I guess that brat still cares for me despite his position, heh. (tears welling up)

Maki: Save the tears for when you meet each other again. I did snatch you up while he wiped his face. I'm guessing he's desperately trying to find your body now. Or what was originally left of it.

Mr. Lucius: Thank you very much! (bows in dogeza) I owe my life to you. I'll never waste this second chance you have given me.

Maki: It's fine. You're still weak so it can be understood. You need to train more.

Mr. Lucius: I understand. Oh and by the way, the one who attacked me was a Fifth Order Angel named Uriel. Long ago, me and my brothers-in-arms fought him and we successfully defeated him. We were quite sure we defeated him but he somehow survived and became even stronger. He's at the Impure Gold Essence now and I don't know how he did it. My Ultimate was even defeated with only his Special Skill. I reckon his true power is almost at the Gold Essence. And he knows that you or rather the Platinum Essence bearer has appeared. Please be careful.

Maki: Thanks for the info. But you better go now or your dear apprentice will cry himself to death this time.

Mr. Lucius: Thank you again! (leaves)

After Mr. Lucius left, Maki lied on the couch that Mr. Lucius was lying earlier and thought some things.

Maki: Looks like my existence was finally noticed, huh? Was it really a bad move to show my powers to the Mr. Lucius? And his enemy that he thought to have been dead came back even stronger this time. Ugh! This is giving me a headache. I should just go home and take a nap to calm my brain down.

Make immediately arrived at his home and entered through the door. His mother forbids him directly go into his room without saying hi to her so he has to go through the front door.

Maki: Mom! I'm home!

Mom: Welcome back, dear! How was the registration for the license?

Maki: Wait, how did you know?

Mom: I saw kids flexing their license to their parents at the supermarket earlier. I was kind of envious too, you know.

Maki: Oh well, it was fine. They said that they will deliver my license later here.

Mom: I didn't know they deliver the licenses to our homes now?

Maki: Well, maybe it's because I'm a Yellow Essence - First Stage now.

Mom: WOW! You have advanced? I'm so proud of you! I'll make your favorite, Lomi, tonight to celebrate.

Maki: WOW! Thanks mom! (hugs) I'll go to my room now. I'm a little tired from the trip.

Mom: Okay. Rest well ,sweetie!
