Episode 7 - Two Hours In

Before the explosion the devastating explosion occurred, Leo was hurriedly making his was to the infirmary. His thoughts were jumbled up because Mr. Angelo's expression looked very grim. Leo was so terrified that he couldn't thing straight and was just making his way to the infirmary. He ran to the infirmary as fast as he could and even released his Special Move - Partial Beast Transformation on his legs to further enhance his running speed. He was running frantically that he did not even notice Maki running beside him until he was tapped on the shoulders.

Maki: Hey! (taps Leo's shoulder) You okay? Your face looks pale.

Leo: Oh Maki it's just- HOLY BEAST COW! (so shocked that it almost made his eyeballs pop out) How are you keeping up with me without using anything?!

Maki: Don't sweat the small details and focus about what's important, will you? So, first question. Do you know where the infirmary is?

Leo and Maki both stopped abruptly leaving a smoke trail on their feet as they use their foot to break their speed.

Leo: Uhh? Now that you mention it. I kind of don't know. 

Maki: Figures. Good thing I came with you then.

Leo: You know where the infirmary is? Hurry tell me! Time's a' wastin!

Maki: Woah there! "Time's a' wastin?" Where'd you learn that, Mr. Proper Class Rep? (chuckles)

Leo: O-oh. A aha. I just wanted to try saying it since it seemed cool when Ms. Flora say it.

Maki: Oh, really? (smirks as if he connected something)

Leo: H-hey! It's not what you think! It's not like I like her, you know? I just like her way of talking. That's all. Period.

Maki: Yeah. Yeah. Back to the crisis at hand. Follow me, I'll lead you there and you do the talking.

Leo: Okay. Let's go.

They started running again and arrived at the infirmary.

Leo: Hello! Anybody here?

Nurse: Hello, how can I help you?

Leo: Hello, uhh? Doc? Nurse? Ma'am? (getting confused)

Nurse Aqua: (chuckles) You must be first years then. (looks at Maki and smirks) I'm Marina Aqua, the university nurse. I possess Aqua Magic. You can call me Nurse Aqua. Nice to meet you.

Nurse Aqua was from the Seafolk Race. She was a Mermaid. Normally, when mermaids are in the water, they would have fish tails. But on land, they can transform those tails into a pair of feet. Nurse Aqua only stood five feet and was relative short compared to the new generation's normal height. She had deep blue irises, oceanic blue hair, and a slender body. 

Leo: Hello, Nurse Aqua. Nice to meet you too. But we need to prepare the rescue team now!

Nurse Aqua: Oh, dear. Is somebody injured?

Leo: No. Not yet. But Mr. Angelo sent us here so please believe me.

Nurse Aqua: Oh my. It must be really serious if even Mr. Angelo is not able to handle it. I'm guessing it's related to what he announced earlier. Okay. Explain the situation as calmly and detailed as you can.

Leo: Yes, I understand. (takes a deep breath) When Mr. Angelo taught us how to feel Mental Force for the first time, one of our classmates had a sudden Tribulation Ascension. But the weird part is that, that person jumped from Yellow - Orange Essence - Second Stage directly to Yellow Essence - First Stage. We were gon-

Nurse Aqua: Got it! Stay here for a while. I'll call the rescue team now. (proceeds to the telephone)

Leo: But I'm not done yet. What do you think, Ma-...Hey! Oh man. Where did he go? (scratches the back of his head)

Maki left the infirmary when Leo started to explain the situation. He made his way back to the Meditation Hall because he had already noticed Aerolith's Mental Force becoming unstable earlier. Thirty seconds later, a huge explosion was heard throughout the university. Maki clicked his tongue and increased his speed a little more to arrive at the Meditation Hall faster. When he arrived, he saw Mr. Angelo with serious injuries and unconscious. Maki looked around the devastated Meditation Hall to find Aerolith and noticed a light shimmering from a pile of rubble. He removed the rubble and found Aerolith unconscious protected by some kind of armor.

Maki: This must be Mr. Angelo's skill. But seriously, this girl is really full of negative energy. (looks at Mr. Angelo again) He seems unconscious. I'll just pop a hole here (pokes a hole through the armor covering Aerolith) and pour some of my seeds, I mean, some of the sigil's vital energy to restore her vitality. Done. And I'm out of here. Where were we supposed to go again? Hmm. A right, the Power Gym. (walks away)

Aerolith: H-Huh? Where am I? Who's the person talking mumbling in front of me. Help! I'm stuck! I can't mo-What?! My voice?! I can't make any sound?! No! Please! Help me! I still have something to say to him! I'm not ready to die yet! Please! Help me! (suddenly feels a stream of warmth flowing inside her) T-This feeling. It feels so good. No! It feels overwhelming! I can't think straight. No! Not down there! No! I'm gonna go crazy from this pure feeling of euphoria. No! I'm going to-...NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!

Aerolith gained consciousness while Maki was trying to help her. But the vital energy Maki gave was a little too strong for Aerolith and ended up feeling a sense pleasure and passed out again. 

Fifteen minutes later, the rescue team arrived and saw that Aerolith was protected by some kind of an armor. They concluded that it was Mr. Angelo's doing and went ahead to administer first aid to him first. After that, they proceeded to try to help Aerolith but they can't remove the protective armor. No matter how many time they try to destroy it by force, they didn't make a single dent.  Much less a scratch. Mr. Angelo woke up shortly after and the rescue team's attention was averted to Mr. Angelo. They assisted him to make him stable enough to explain the situation again about the cause of the incident. Mr. Angelo explained everything that has transpired up until he lost consciousness due to the explosion. And the protective armor on Aerolith was indeed one of his skills. Not many know Mr. Angelo's skill because he doesn't use it very often. He only uses it on dire situations like this. When he looks at the unconscious Aerolith again. He stood up suddenly, also startling the rescue team. Mr. Angelo's face was hard to describe because the protective armor he conjured had a tiny hole on it. The rescue team did not notice the hole because it was so small that one had to look carefully to notice it. Mr. Angelo noticed it immediately when he looked at it because it was his own skill. 

Mr. Angelo: Quick! Call Nurse Aqua. Hurry!

One of the rescue team: Yes, sir!

Five minutes later, Nurse Aqua arrived and was greeted by a desperate looking face from Mr. Angelo. Mr. Angelo undid the protective armor and hysterically told Nurse Aqua to diagnose Aerolith's body.

Mr. Angelo: Nurse Aqua, thank goodness you're here. Quick! Scan the girls body thoroughly, leave no cell unchecked.

Nurse Aqua: Please calm down, Mr. Angelo. I'll-

Mr. Angelo: HURRY!!!

Nurse Aqua was shocked about the kind of behavior Mr. Angelo was showing. It was the first time she saw Mr. Angelo panicking so much that the Mr. Angelo she adored and admired was reduced to this state. Although she was disappointed, she still followed Mr. Angelo's instruction. She used her Special Skill - Sonar Scan and diagnosed Aerolith's body up to the cells and nothing worth mentioning was found.

Nurse Aqua: There is nothing wrong with her, Mr. Angelo.

Mr. Angelo: You sure? Did you check up to the cells.

Nurse Aqua: (getting a little bit annoyed) Yes, Mr. Angelo. If anything, are you sure that she's the one who caused the explosion? Because there is absolutely nothing wrong with her.

Mr. Angelo: (realizes something) Wait. Nothing wrong? Even the Upper Dan Tian?

Nurse Aqua: (remembers the explanation Leo made) Y-Yes. Now that I think about it. When I diagnosed her body and mind, they were so tranquil that I had to question you if she really was the cause of this mess. Strange.

Mr. Angelo: Yes. That's the weird part because I knew her Mental State better than anyone here before I put the armor on her. I wonder if there was somebody else who came here before you guys. I'm one hundred percent sure that all of you can't put a hole on my armor.

Nurse Aqua: Wait. You mean to say that somebody was able to put a hole on your Ultimate, Holy Armament?

Mr. Angelo: That's what I'm trying to say. Why else would I panic? This is the first time even for me. Can you imagine how shocked would you be if you had an armor type Ultimate like me? I'm a Bronze - Violet Essence - Third Peak Stage, you know? Nobody can put a hole on my Ultimate in this school except for a few teachers and the principal. And somebody just casually put a hole in it. (calls on the rescue team but their leader answered) Hey rescue team. How much did it take for you to come here after you heard the explosion?

Leader of the Rescue Team: About fifteen minutes, sir.

Mr. Angelo: Okay, understood. Thank you. Continue your job. (talks again to Nurse Aqua) And it took them less than ten minutes to punch a hole on my armor type Ultimate. If it was the principal, which is not possible because he's always busy, I would understand. But even with him, I'm sure it would take him at least twenty minutes to puncture my armor. If this is really the case, then this school might be in danger.

Nurse Aqua: This has become quite alarming. Should I report this to the principal?

Mr. Angelo: No, not yet. Though the possibility is next to impossible. I'm suspecting that it's one of the new batch. And the class who knew about this incident was that girl's classmates. 

Nurse Aqua: Surely you jest, Mr. Angelo. They just started here and today is even their first day. The school even conducts the entrance exam by itself to avoid cheating. How could they enter into this school without being found out?

Mr. Angelo: Like I said. It's still no more than my own personal speculation. That's why we don't need to report this yet. Just report everything that has happened here except for our discussion. Besides, whoever that person is, at least it helped this student to stabilize her condition. So don't worry for now. Are we clear?

Nurse Aqua: Yes, Mr. Angelo. By the way, Are you okay now? Do you need to want to come with me to the infirmary? (blushes)

Mr. Angelo: (blushes) I-I-I g-guess I-I'll take up your of-offer on that. (uwu)

Later, in the infirmary. 

Mr. Angelo: (sigh) I forgot that she needs to be treated here in the infirmary.

Nurse Aqua: (getting embarrassed) I-I'm sorry, Mr. Angelo. I forgot about here and ended up inviting you here on the spur of the moment. I-I'll make it up to you later. (facing down while bumping her two pointing fingers)

Mr. Angelo: (finds her reaction cute) H-How about tonight then?

Nurse Aqua: T-Tonight? Y-You mean a date? I'd be deli-

Maki: You know, you should do those things when there's nobody inside right? (-_-)

Both Nurse Aqua and Mr. Angelo: Na-NAAAAAANIIIIIII?????

Mr. Angelo: H-How did you get inside here?! Were spying on us didn't you?!

Nurse Aqua: That's right! Didn't your parents taught you to knock before you enter somebody else's room?

Maki: This is not your room though. This is the university's infirmary. (-_-') And I knocked. I got creeped by your awkward conversation so I just entered on my own. And there's a student resting here so please do that somewhere else. If something bad happens to her and her father comes personally, even the principal can't help you.

Mr. Angelo: Yo-You're right. (sigh) I guess I'll return to the Meditation Hall for now to clean some of the mess. Talk to you later, Nurse Aqua.

Nurse Aqua: O-Okay, Mr. Angelo. Thank you for coming by. And I'm sorry for this embarrassment. 

Mr. Angelo: It's okay. Carry on with your duties then. (bows slightly and leaves the infirmary)

Nurse Aqua: You too. Have a nice day. (bows) Ahem.

Maki: (sigh) Can't believe you're grown ups.

Nurse Aqua: What did you say, little man? (releases some anger while facing and heading to Maki)

Maki: H-hey, wait. You're the school nurse. You're supposed to heal us.

Nurse Aqua: Yeah, I can heal you. But I can't heal you when you're not injured right? And thanks to you, my moment with Mr. Angelo was destroyed by you. You want me to do my job, right? I'll really do my best to heal you after I accidentally injure you. Okay? (smiles darkly)

Maki: U-Uhh? H-Help?! AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A painful yelp echoed throughout the university. Just two hours in on the first day of school, an explosion and a wail was already heard. What's more to come?
